The Zen wicks have been soaking in vg ever since they were made. A new wick you made and oxidized yourself would take longer to build up initial crud.........

Good point. Do you think it would build up in one day?

Russ, have you checked the center tank post to make sure it has not unscrewed from the bottom? The other thought is that the connector is not behaving with were it needs to sit on the provari.

yea already missing out both VC 1 and 2, and VB/VF last year, I an NOT missing out VB2 @ CHi-town this coming April

VB @ NYC in March, not so much...especially if you need ta pay at the door to get in, let alone still thinking about the crud dealing with last year's fiasco behind it and VF running at the same time

Well, of course, it's in "nearly perfect APV" mode right now, so it's going to be fine. But the positive pin does spring in and out when it's not. I hate to put it down for a couple of hours again. I love it when it's in "nearly perfect APV". mode.

It's a seasoned Zen wick. Five wraps.

I think it would depend on how much you vape, how many coils, and how high you have it set........I also think that since VG is sweeter than PG, high VG juices would build crud up faster, but that's just a guess........

Russ, I had the same problem with one of my ZAP's. All I did was a really good dry burn and good cleaning and it has been fine since. Also, make sure there is not some juice in the 510 connection of the Provari. I've also had this problem with carto tanks and that's what it ended up being.

Well, I'm pretty much a chain vaper. 5/4 wrap at 3.8v. 65pg/35vg (NLV Gold).

I did 5, thinking about trying 6, but 5 seems perfect right now.

That is an EXCELLENT point. The other thing that is common (besides the dufus setting it up) is the Provari. It didn't start until a couple of days ago, and it was with the ZAP and the ZAU. Hey, honey, is there a pencil around here?

Gruss make sure your positive post is not loose. Unfettered had a zap that would not fire but I didn't get to see what mike did to fix it. I think it has something to do with the center pin.

yea it could start a build up within a tank or 2....chain-vaping like I do has a tendancy to work much faster as the coil and wick barely have time to cool off between vapes...

yep, VB is Vape Bash...VF is Vape Fest....thank Spikey for holding last years at the same time as VB lol big controversy about that... glad they aren't this time, but still, they are a bit close together...less than a month lol....VF is march 22nd and 23rd, VB is April 12th and 13th

Anyone have a chance to visit anywhere else around town while they were waiting for vendors to set up? We went in to very close by Carytown and came up with awesome finds in some of the antique/nick-nack shops. The first pic is of a candle holder that I widened the wholes on ever so slightly to fit double shot glasses into snugly. Makes a nice mod holder. The second pic is just a box that holds all my juice bottles. Prices for both wood pieces were dirt cheap.
