Octopus --) Octopi

words that end in "us" and have Latin roots are plural with 'i'.

Words ending in 'is' are plural with 'es'

Octopus or Platypus can be plural as either octopuses or octopi because they are Greek not Latin, but have been plurally spelled both and both are now acceptable.

You can also refer to them as Octopus or platypus as plural and simply refuse to use either I or ES.

Platypus are cooler than octopus....also is plural.
Campus becomes campuses not campi because it's not Latin.

As an aside the word Genesii does exist, but refers to kind of slug.

Will these be preorder with deposit, how much is the deposit, time frame for preorder?

Will it accept the same batteries and a longer battery since its longer than a mini?

Will you include the matching driptip in the same finish?

Will you include a classy custom case for it?

Will you add a bright LED behind the diamond so it can show it off? That's just a request.

Schooled! Lol.

I am pretty sure we determined earlier in the thread that plural zenesises would be called zenesi. No mater what you call it, they are still amazing.

Hi Everybody,

First off let me start off with I really like the Zenesis. Their is no complaint about it, but the the genesis is a bit tricky for me.
I have a few questions: Full disclaimer, I am completely new to the genesis/Zenesis

1)In order to use a genesis/Zenesis should I always have to vape it at 3 or 2oclock angle? not that it is a problem. Is it suppose feed or wick by itself in a vertical position

2)Most of the time I will get great filling hits with tons of vapor, then other times I will get dry hits where it will make the back of my throat itchy and will sort of kind of make me cough and I have to drink water. Even after all the shorts are gone. Is their a remedy to this?

3) When do you know to replace the wick or coil?

4) Someone mentioned that they cleaned the crude off the wick or coil. Is that necessary or personal preference and how do you know to clean vs replace the wick or coil?

5) The wick that orginally comes with the MINI is it 325 or 400 mesh?

6) Is their a benefit to use either 325 or 400? is the benefit more toward flavor, TH or wicking?

7) since it has been only 3 days should I consider trying 5 wraps? Is their a benefit to using 5 wraps? does it change the flavor or decrease the vapor?

Thank you, sorry to ask such noob questions. I am trying to get the full potential of the Genesis atty, in the shortest amount of time or before I go to a Vapemeet

Thank You

I don't have my Zenesis yet but have experience with other Genesis mods.

1) 3 oclock is normal, as the wick breaks in it'll wick better and you can change to 4 or 5 oclock if you prefer but in my experience vaping it in a vertical position will result in dry hits.

2) Give it a few secs between draws for it to wick when the wick is new.

3)Generally when the wicking starts to drop off it's time to clean or replace the wick, when the vapor starts to lessen on a fresh battery it's time to dry burn or replace the coil.

4) See 3

5) It comes loaded with a #400 wick

6)325 wicks really thick juice better and provides more throat hit.

7)5 wraps provides a cooler vape with more flavor depending on the juice.

Sweet deal, Thank you for the great answers. I am considering thinking about doing the 5 wraps but as far the warmth, I am satisfied with the 4 wraps that it came with.

The flavor is their, but it is sort of in and out.

Wonder if it need more time to break in (it has been 3 days) or do I need to adjust something? I am currently vaping Boardwalk Breeze from RAWR vapor 12nic.

So...

What have I been hinting at?

What could I possibly do to create a PV that sells for well over a grand...

Well... Here we go...

Ladies and Gents... I'm proud to announce the newest member of the Zenesis Family...

The Zenesis Diamond

zd3.jpg

The Zenesis Diamond isn't for everybody... It makes a statement that vaping isn't a dirty little secret, rather, it's something to be proud of. As long as there have been eCigs our devices have been totally utilitarian... something to get the job done. Simple machines with a simple purpose, in fact, a general lack of sophistication in design has been a benchmark of the industry.

The Zenesis Diamond is a major departure from that mindset... This PV will be crafted from Black Chrome Plated 316LVM and adorned with a 1/4 Karat Diamond, set in 18k Yellow gold. The Zenesis Diamond will be Sharp, Sophisticated, Stylish and above all, Beautiful!

Only Ten will be made initially, though there may be more to follow. The First Ten will be the ONLY ones to have a Serial Number, and each one will come with a certificate of authenticity.

This PV will be about 1/2" taller than a Mini and feature the same mechanisms and function of the Mini.

As I've already said, it won't be for everybody... but for those that value style and can appreciate having the finest things in life, the Zenesis Diamond is made just for you.

Target delivery will be early December 2012 and it is priced at $1500.00.

I have no doubt that it will sell out once it becomes available.
clean and eloquent, bravo zen~.......:toast:

@Fay. I am vaping a 325 mesh 4 coil setup with AVE GJ (100%VG) and it vapes best for me at the 4-5 o'clock position (which is natural for me) with the wick down (Zen~ engraving up). In my experience, if you have a good wick/coil setup with no shorts, it will vape just fine (once it breaks in) in this position. If I have a short or it isn't wicking well, it won't. Also, I noticed when I first fill it up all the way, if I tilt it to the 3 o'clock, it tends to stop wicking... I believe because the air hole is getting blocked by the liquid. Once it starts to get below half full, I start tilting it up to 3-4 0'clock more to make sure the whole wick has liquid on it in the tank, and once it gets almost empty, I am at 3 o'clock trying to keep the wick wet. I have been using this wick about 1.5 months. It was one of Zen's, that I rolled down to fit into the wick hole, and torched/quenched/oxidized at one time to clean it. Put a new coil on yesterday, that initially had a short on the top wrap, but nudged it slightly and back in heaven with it.
