ob - I changed my number in response to peer pressure, and certain people irrational fear of the reality of imaginery numbers. So I went with 42 which is the answer to the ultimate question of "Life, the Universe, and Everything".

Aww. You should have stayed strong. Stick up for what you believe.

That being said, I like 42. I almost picked #69. And not because of what you think it's for :)

Zen,
I've been having issues with my Don here lately. It has been shorting out atties and cartos like mad. Would a Z-Atty-D experience these issues? My best guess it that I'm slightly over tightening them causing the center pins to make contact with the outer threaded portions of the atties.

Also,
I'm a huge fan of Dual coil cartos, Will the Zenesis have the same warm vapor as a dcc?

Also,
Nobody has asked this yet but how is the draw on the Zenesis? I really hate stiff draws on any of my devices... Will it be adjustable?

Thanks!

People the like stiff draws always mention they feel the draw of the Zenesis is too light for them... Once they get used to it, they like it. The draw on the Zenesis is not stiff. if you want it to be adjustable get the adjustable flow tip that Clouds of Vapor sells.

Stainless Steel AFC Air Flow Control Drip Tip

About vapor temp... You have to remember the Zenesis has control of this... More wraps of kanthal and it gets cooler...fewer wraps and it heats up.

There is no Z-Atty-D. If I make one, it will replace the entire top of the Don, so it would not have the same issues.

Which reminds me, if somebody wants to trade a Don towards some Zenesis products, I'm interested and I'm still seeking a SSGGTS to take in trade.

I'm also interested in a KATANA for research purposes, but I'm not holding my breath on that one...

Lastly, somebody asked about the Ti list... It's going well, the Ti will be heading to the machine shop next week with the hopes of a late March early April release.

Do the people making the trades get to jump to the head of the line? :)

Good morning Zenfidels!!
It appears that us Febers are getting closer to having our Zenesis' in our grubby paws!
Looking forward to seeing the cases, they sound like they’ll be great.
I must admit, even though I love my VV BF RSM, I too am getting disgusted with what we currently have to deal with in order to vape.
I love the clean taste I get when using an atty, but they’re so inconsistent and unreliable. I just can’t justify to myself spending $7-$9+ for something that might last a few weeks, or a few minutes. Now I use cartos the vast majority of the time.
Cartos mute the flavors of my joose somewhat, but they usually work for about a week before I need to change them, they’re much cheaper, and a lot of the time they can be cleaned and reused. Aside from the muted flavors, another thing that dislike about cartos is the waste. I realize that each one is probably holding less than 1ml when it's time to change to a fresh one, but when I look at a bowl with 20 or 25 cartos awaiting an attempt at cleaning, I can't help but think about the 15+ mls of joose trapped in them. That’s three or four days worth of vaping.
I can’t wait to get back to being able to really taste the joose!
OK, back to (not so) patiently waiting for next week!

Amen! I'll tell you, I've been so frustrated with it all lately that I've been smoking when I'm at my limit of frustration. I was over a year completely smoke free until recently. It's so disappointing...to be vaping 2 years, one of them smoke free, and then get to this spot again. I just want to cry.

Yeah I know all about that. I'm currently vaping SC 1.7 and I change mine every 2-3 days. After that it looks like crap in there. People are saying that they get a month out of them, I don't see how. Last week I pop in two new cart and they both had a burnt taste, So I just threw them out and finally the third one works. After two days they start to get a funky taste to them, nasty. The price we pay to vape. I agree with you Breww, I can't wait to start tasting the true flavor of my juice again.

Thanks Zen...for the TIP on the... well you know. I was going to get a SS SuperT drip-tip, but that adjustable one should be perfect. I went ahead and ordered one. I also ordered a SS Mawn drip-tip from Kcos based on your previous suggestions and bought some raffle tickets from her for a ProVari on the VaporWall site ... I only got the raffle tickets to help them sell out & to "grease the wheels" of Karma for when the Zenesis raffle take place. Besides, if I win a ProVari it will give me an excuse to get Z-Atty-Pro and have a backup PV for when my Zenesis Standard gets here on March 1st. (BTW...March 1st is my birthday, but no preassure :vapor:)

At the risk of losing my shirt, what percentage of the total price does the $250 deposit cover for Zenesis Ti?

Last night I fried a $22 atty. It was my fault, the fire button on my Reo and my keys had a little party in my jacket pocket. Not the equipment's fault--totally user error. Still, that's $22 up in vapor--poof. I also found out one of my three go-to juices is no longer going to be made on a regular basis--which is a bummer.

I don't know about anybody else, but I've been cruising the Classifieds and fighting the urge to buy something else before the Feb Zenesis shipment arrives. It's to the point that I'm close enough now that I can hold out, but for a while there, I was looking at all kinds of stuff that would hopefully be relegated to backup status once the Feb orders ship.

That really sucks, nothing worse than when vape equipment dies.

Unfortunately I gave in, and I put in a group order with some friends for more supplies. I know march is just around the corner but I couldn't help myself.
