ob, my friend, that was such a thoughtful post.

With it, I think you have put this thread into perspective and explained to people why some of us who have been here from the beginning, have so much respect and admiration for Mike, his business philosophy, his rules (no "O" word, no "M" word and no "V" word) and his Zenesis. We all know from whence he came. :) We know why "Just Vape It" came to be. It was never meant to be dismissive, as some people have insinuated, but as a means to an an end...a good vape on the Zenesis APV. The more you vape it, the better it gets. No Ohms, Voltage or Multimeter needed. It's just his vision of a simple way to vape the Zenesis. Fewer wraps, warmer vape. More wraps, cooler vape.

We witnessed it from the beginning. We have seen the ups and downs. We watched as people received their new Zenesis with the ground-edge fused quartz tanks, promptly crack them and Mike immediately stood up and said they would all get new polished fused quartz tanks, which wouldn't be quite so fragile. We watched the February list Zenesises shipped, only to find the switch design was poor and didn't work quite as intended. I had one. Again, Mike immediately stood up and took the responsibility to send everyone a newly designed switch...at a great loss to him. Mike's business philosophy at work. It's just one reason we have so much respect for him and want to defend him when some people who aren't quite as familiar with him, say things that aren't as kind as we think they should be. I'm guilty.

We've witnessed it all and became great friends while doing so. I know what it's like to go to a thread where long-timers know each other well and are close friends. One thread (shall remain unnamed) that comes to mind wasn't friendly or welcoming and people were resistant to noobs and that came through loud and clear. Another thread, the Reo Mod thread, where everyone was kind, warm, welcoming, helpful and so giving that one couldn't help but feel comfortable there.

THAT is what I always try to remember when new people come here. Do I want them to feel comfortable like people do on the Reo thread? Or unwelcome, as I did on that unnamed thread? I choose to roll out the welcome mat. I'm no saint. I just want to treat people the way I like to be treated. I also like answers to my questions answered YESTERDAY (delayed gratification is not one of my strong points...admittedly ;)), so I am only doing what I would like done for me.

Most of us are new to rebuildable atomizers and had to ask the same questions, watch the videos and jump right in when we received our Zenesis. We were intimidated too. We had switch issues and coils that didn't fire right or wicks that didn't seem to wick our particular juice. We too had metallic/burnt tastes. Riddle, lorderos, Mike and many others were patient with us as we learned. We were all there at one point or another. We just need to remember that. That's all.

Here's a great big hug for you... ((((((HUG))))))

Your Pooch is lucky to have you as his dad and I'm lucky to have you as a friend. Happy Father's Day, my friend. :)
A few short months ago I happened upon this thread. I lurked. I read. And I wondered "how will I ever fit" with this close knit bunch? I said hi. Probably asked a silly question as all we newbies do. I was promptly greeted, then basically told to take a hike and start on page one, post one. He was being Murdock of course. No maliciousness, just playful advice. I took that advice and FLEW through over 1200 pages. I quickly realized that I missed the "meat" of the thread flying through it so quickly. I took it upon myself to start over. I started at page one again, but continued to follow from the last page. It was over 1600 pages this time.

By the time I was done, I realized something that has changed me from the moment I did so. I realized " how could I not fit it"? I feel like I have gotten to know each and every one of you. And that could never have happened if the veterans, the ones that have been here since Mike had "the dream", weren't as open, helpful, and as giving as they have been. It's the people in this thread who have made it what it is. It is what it is because of the veterans who welcomed us all. Does that make me a fanboy? Ask me if I care. You Vic, ob, and the rest of your veteran brethren can take all the credit for what we have become. I'm grateful to be a part of it and the history that Mike's has made.

Oh I know but at the last meet (theres been one after this one two if you count the bad service Korean thingy!) we all had a conversation about who could hear who in the background LOL (No and do not ask I am not going into the Korean thingy any further than that lest it become some legend or something)Now I am just sitting here laughing over it all!

Vicsan & elfstone, thanks for posting that. Actually, I had seen part of that video...but evidently someone had edited out parts of the one I saw because this one was much longer and has some stuff that I didn't see in the last one. I genuinely enjoyed that video.

And, yes, he does seem like a super nice guy. LOL But I already knew that because when I first heard of "Zenesis", I went to the House of Hybrid (store) site and sent a PM asking some really routine (and, looking back, "stupid") questions (that was before I knew about this forum and other similar forums). Well, Zen himself answered my PM. He didn't take my head off. He didn't act cocky or annoyed. He didn't come across like he was "somebody" and I was "nobody". Nope, he was just polite, professional and a gentleman. I liked that.

.... 'nuff said :)

Exactly! That's zen~. What you see is what you get and the guy really IS a NICE GUY.

*Group hug*

Though the thread is a bit slow today, the content has been very insightful. When I first arrived here, I felt the same as many, apparently. I saw a tight knit but friendly group, and quickly realized I wanted to play a part here on the grand stage. With little to bring to the table except a great mustache, and my sparkling personality, I took a deep breath and jumped right in.

I'm delighted that I did. It has been just a few short months that I have been here, but it has been a great learning experience. I have enjoyed nearly all of the personalities that I have encountered here, and I consider many of you friends. In the coming months I have no doubt that this community will continue to grow exponentially as word of Zen and his marvelous contraption reach more and more vapers. Naturally, as my knowledge and mustache continue to increase in size and scope, I hope to be able to share them freely with current and future generations of Zenfidels!

Hi everyone, I've been here for a while but don't post much. I'm always hiding in that dark corner vaping my zenesis. Just reading and hanging out. But one thing I can say is The people on this thread here is the bomb. We are like a big happy family. If you have question, They will answer it. If you need a shirt they will give you the shirt off there back. I seen so many people here doing good deeds and helping a fellow zenfidel(or Zenfidel to be). I'm glad to be part of this family. That's all I have to say. I'll go back to my corner now.
