Ugh....I'm listening to the local weather again. Rain will be bad, wind, bad. Keeping fingers crossed that the temp doesn't drop even 2 degrees. If so, that will all turn to snow. So, I'm on my way to brave the storm, literally! From reports, DC is getting hit now. Ian, Chief and everyone I've forgotten lives in that area....keep warm and dry.

Later.

I'm praying for all of you and yours.......:thumb:

Thanks Lisa. Heard Beckly is gonna get 2ft of snow, wonder if you are gonna get some of that.
I am working today, nothing like driving around in a commercial van with 40-70mph winds today. This thing is like a metal kite waiting to take flight.

Yes, please, all my ZenFriends, stay safe. No matter how obvious the media's exploitations, please, please, please, take all precautions, anyway. Let them make fools of us all in our over-reactions. Please.

I agree!!!!

Living in Florida, I know first hand how bad these storms can be. It is not just the storm itself, it's the flooding and tornados these things bring after it comes ashore. Always prepare for the worst and hope for the best!!!!

With that said, I'm hoping and praying that each and everyone of you stay safe! Please take care and check in when you can! ((((HUGS))))

Goodmorning eveyone hope everyone here on the east coast is staying safe and that this all passes over quickly. I am in North East Pennsylvania and supposed to be getting the rain and highwinds this afternoon and we are of course under a flood warning as well. And will possibly lose electric. But prayers for everyone involved.

Morning all.
So far, our little corner of South Jersey is wet and a little wind blown, but we have power for now.
We did think to pick up a Thunder Shirt for the wuss Shih Zu. (and that's pronounced Sheed Zu, LOL)
Hoping it works for the little guy,
How we're gonna get him to "go" outside when the winds get worse without becoming dog kite I haven't figured out yet.
Or who to send him with so we don't have daughter kite either.....

Just send them out on the "leeward" side of the house. ;)

The elevation increases dramatically about 2 counties east of me. The mountains always get the worst of it. If we get 2 inches of snow, Elkins, Kingwood, Terra Alta get 2 feet or more. They are predicting 2-4 inches for us, but if the temps hold, most of that should melt. It's a coin toss at this point really.

So yesterday I thought all my batts were dying premature deaths, but it turned out I just needed a new coil on the Ti mini. I was trying to remember when I wrapped that beauty - it was more than a week BEFORE Vapercon!!!

It improved so much, I vaped the batt down to 3.3 before testing it again!! :vapor: :vapor:

Thankfully, I'm far enough west in VA that I don't think we're going to get it too bad.

Still a good chance to get rough closer to the coast though.

Don't get complacent! Heavier rain bands moving in now, and the worst of the winds expected later this afternoon/early evening.
