How about an Ultrasonic atomizer?

I have an ultrasonic vaporizer at home, that we use whenever we catch a cold. This thing cranks out the fog/mist.

Does anyone know if this has been tried for ecig atomizers, instead of heating coils?

I'm fairly sure the first pv design used an ultrasonic method. They were to fragile and unreliable. So they opted for a heating element.

Diseases forming = fungal/bacterial growth. A healthy immune system goes a long way to keep "daily microbes" at bay.
Its very difficult to maintain a sterile/sanitary environment that moves between your fingers, mouth, and pocket. The 200*F+ temps at the coil sterilize the vapor.
