I'll admit my post about breaking down you door for nic is insane and extreme and I'm being laughed at.I was trying to make a point they want full control of this. The nic will be classed as a tobacco product so it falls under the tobacco control act.As others have said in this thread tread lightly on how much nic you have on hand they won't believe is your personal stash and you have intent to distribute.Instead of hoarding gallons of nic we should focus are energy on advocacy and try and soften the blow we are about to receive.

Sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree with the parts above in red.

They will want to control ~the taxes~ on ~future sales~ of it... that's where their real revenue stands to be.

If the regs show any semblance of common sense, our little existing stocks of nic will be grandfathered in.

And I have receipts for what I have 'stashed' in my freezer. Compare that to how little I've used since it was bought, and it's obvious I do not have any "intent to distribute".

And I DO agree that... we should focus are our energy on advocacy

What happened to the "vaping as a smoking cessation aid" thing?

I remember it was touted as a way to help quit smoking via cigarette replacement and gradual reduction of nicotine intake. Until you don't need to smoke or vape anymore.

Poor me took that seriously and I'm now at 0mg. Were you guys misleading me all this time? 8-o

Lol by the time I get to 0mg nic, I'll have 75 mods and 30lbs of rebuildable atomizers....what am I supposed to do with all this stuff if I stop vaping?

Still working as intended.

Absolutely!

Say what?! Reduce my nicotine intake until I don't need to vape? Not me. Please don't take away my nicotine. You...wouldn't like me very much...if you took away my nicotine...

:D

So you're at zero nicotine and yet you still fight for vapers?
What's wrong with you?

It seems you care about more than just yourself.
You were clearly born in the wrong decade.
;)

Nothing wrong, I just like a good logical debate, and a good flavorful 0mg vape with my coffee, and I watch the news just in case someone finds some real problem with vaping.

I never imagined I'd ever see intent to distribute connected with nic, they coming for my coffee next.
We can do both advocacy and stock piling, nothing will soften the blown better then gallons. ;)

Depending upon the day, coffee may heal you or may kill you. Trust not those who seek to govern you.

You are making the classic mistake of conflating smoking and nicotine use. Smoking is harmful. Nicotine use in the absence of smoke, not so much.

Vaping worked just fine as a smoking cessation aid for me, while nothing else ever did. I stopped smoking less than a week after taking my first vape back in December of 2013, and I'm much healthier because of it. However, I have little desire to reduce or eliminate my consumption of nicotine. If some people do, that's fine for them, but they should not project that goal onto all other vapers or imply that weaning oneself off nicotine entirely is the only "legitimate" reason to vape, m'kay? ;)

Yes, I vape today because I like it. I'm going to keep vaping until I no longer like it. I use a low concentration of nicotine simply because I don't care for the feel of increased concentrations in my throat, for no other reason. Perhaps I could eliminate nicotine completely; perhaps not, but I don't care. Others do want to eliminate nicotine and quit vaping; I am for them. However, I like the fooling with stuff coils and all that, I like the "ritual" or habit of hand to mouth and I make the greatest mixtures of juice that I have ever found. I like the taste.

They obviously need to start building more prisons ... these vapers must be stopped.

Sent via iPhone

We don't need more prisons, we need to release all of those whose crimes were committed as a result of the oppression they suffered at the hands of the one percent. Then we will have room for those vapers who might harm the children through their exhalation and bad examples.

The jokes on them!
When the zombies come they will beg us to let them in our prison!

Question: When a vegan gets infected and becomes a zombie, Do they walk around saying "Tooofuuuuuu"?

I don't see quitting both smoking and nicotine as a mistake. It's a valid option in addressing the thread's question.

For me, it worked to smoothly get me off tobacco cigarettes. I didn't suffer and I won't have random cravings nor lurid dreams about smoking - for the rest of my life or until I relapse - like with ANTZ "approved methods".

As for the vapocalypse - my prediction is that they will try to make vaping more expensive than smoking, by controlling the nicotine supply. You'll pay extra for the "privilege" of not inhaling the smoke. Otherwise everything will be equal.

It's not a mistake for you, if that's what you want. The thing is, there's rather a lot of us here who don't want that, who are looking for options other than, "Stop vaping nicotine", and we can be kinda ornery about it. ;)

Well put Rossum. I chose vaping as a safer alternative to consuming nicotine, a chemical I have been addicted to since birth. I don't like the person I become in it's absence, and am thankful that there is a safer way for me to consume it, and remain somewhat sane.
