I use 18 mg nic in my juices. If I want to try DIY to prepare for the regulations or just freeze so in case, what is the best way to buy it in order to cut it to 18 mg.

I've used both methods: buy 100mg and cut and 36mg and cut in half. I, like you, enjoy 18mg. I use the 36 for larger batches, and the 100 for upping the content of something with no or not enough nic - as an adjuster.

Sent from my LG G2, using Smack-a-talk HD.

Just google ejuicemeup calculator. It does everything for you. It's best to store 100mg and not cut. It takes much less room and cutting it adds a great deal of exposure to air before the freezer. Mixing on the go with 100mg is easy and safe but you have to do extensive homework about safety. I built a mixing station with foam glued to a board. I cut holes in the foam so all the bottles are snug and secure. I place it on an aluminum sheet pan in case of a spill and have yet to spill anything. I've been mixing for 6 months now.

I broke my nic down into 120ml glass bottles with a poly seal cap. The air bubble in each bottle is the size of a skittle. I mix for 5 people so 120ml lasts 2-3 months. Nic is fine in dark box for 2-3 months with little oxidation worry. I only have 1 bottle out of the freezer at a time.

Looking back I thought it would be way more difficult than it actually is. Breaking and storing a couple liters takes about an hour. Mixing is nothing more than following the recipe. I always put the nic in the bottle first. It's the one thing you never want to brain fart with.

I envision mobs of vapors with pitchforks storming the capitol...
One time when I had quit smoking cold turkey for a few days, my wife (who has never been a nicotine user) basically told me I'd better start smoking again if I wanted to stay married. In other words, I get pretty darn ornery when deprived of nicotine. That's why I'm stockpiling it, because I wouldn't want to do anything rash, like going all medieval on the politicians. :D

Well, c'mon... how on Earth could 'going all medieval on the politicians' be considered 'rash'...? Some hangings here, some burnings there... maybe some choppings and boilings, for good measure... it's only politicians, after all... no big deal, really...

(Now, THAT's the kind of Medieval fair I would gladly attend...! )

So, maybe I'm looking at this all wrong, but the only thing I think that can be regulated is the nicotine itself, right? If so, then quantity/storage/extraction of nicotine are the only factors we need to be concerned with.

It's the choke for the entire industry. And the easiest target by a mile. Everything else is really muddy and secondary to nic.

Not exactly...they can, and to some degree already have, regulate the shipment of lithium ion batteries. So, do like me and learn how to make a Puck mod.

I'm worried it's true, but I think I have enough time to lower my nic before the UK government try to take things away from me. If not it'll be the black market for me I guess.

Their insane methods may regulate not taking into consideration nicotine. One never knows how they will try to extract money from vaping. Regulate devices? Liquid in general? PG/VG? Take a look at some proposed or enacted laws in some states. They all point to one thing. TAX TAX TAX!
