How bad is it that I found some juice on my battery?

I noticed that my Triton was not hitting well on one particular tank, could not figure out why. Other tanks worked perfect, just the one tank, and it was literally brand new. Upon further inspection, I noticed that some juice was on the tip of my battery, and that there was some running down the middle of the coil, I think this is what the problem was. So far I have never had this problem with my gear b4.

I cleaned all the juice off, but is this really bad for my batteries? Bad? or ok as long as I hopefully got to it in time?

Gear = Halo Triton

Not to worry. The Triton is a sealed battery meaning that the center post has a seal to prevent any juice from entering the internal portion which can short it out internally= trash time. Halo is very well made equipment. You'll see this from time to time. Just soak it up with a tissue or a-tip and Vape on. :)
Automatic batteries [no button, fires automatically when one sucks air (takes a hit)] have a hole in the center post and don't fare very well at all when juice drips out of the bottom of the clearomizer (tank) or cartomizer (cig filter looking device).

To clean the "mote" on the battery. I use a paper towel I've dipped in isopropl alcohol then with the flat edge of a dental floss pick, I clean the juice up. Some say you can also use a straw to clean in the "mote".

I always clean the battery and it's threads before charging. :)

Just a quick thought, I have only had this prob with one particular juice, but I am guessing I did something wrong when I filled that tank. Any tips? I always check my coil to make sure that it is snug, I wipe off the parts from where I filled, I make sure everything is dry. Perhaps it is just a bad tank, since this is the first time I used it, or a bad coil perhaps, but I just can't think of why all of a sudden with a new tank that this happened.
