Do you have the newer ones with the bottom that screws off, or the older style? Just type cleaning a stardust into your search engine and that will show you several videos which will be the most help to you.

Some videos will tell you to attach the stardust to your battery and wiggle the plastic tube off. DON'T do this! I broke an ego batt doing this first time I tried to clean a stardust. The whole head of my battery came off!

the older style is a bit harder, but basically this is the way

Take off the tip and dump the juice out
fill with hot water, rinse several times and dump out
Old style remove the silicone cap with tweezers or hemostats (new style you can just take it off with your fingers)
Attach it to your battery, and dry burn

To dry burn....
fire your battery in about 4 second bursts. Let cool 5-10 seconds between firing bursts
you'll see steam at first since the wick is wet, then you see some smoke and smell a burned smell, this is fine as it's burning off the gunk on the coils from the juice.
Once you see the coils glowing red, and you can see each individual coil......stop.
Rinse the coil again, put the silicone cap back on.......fill and vape.

It'll take longer to dry burn when the coils are wet from rinsing out the stardust than if you let them dry for a couple hours after rinsing, but it's quicker than letting them dry.

Good advice and this will work. But if you would rather get a majority of lingering flavor out of them, then pick up some 91% Isopropyl alcohol and let them all soak in a bowl for an hour or so. Rinse them out with very warm water, shake water out, and then let dry overnight.

Hmmm, did you happen to get a bunch samples on Sunday? Just curious.

Some folks do use iso alcohol, but I really don't recommend it. If you don't get it completely rinsed out, and that's hard to do.....there is a lot of concern over what it can do if you're vaping it. If you use anything to soak attys in, I'd recommend PGA (pure grain alcohol... like everclear) over isopropyl. It's one of those debates that may never have a definitive answer, but I won't do isopropyl cuz why take the chance.

Will the Everclear harm the plastic tank. I use Everclear to clean my atty's so it's available to me. I'd like to get the taste outta a tank of mine also. Just worried that the 190 proof might eat the tank like it did my stomach that one time.

I haven't used it on the plastic tank, so I don't know, but I store mine in a small plastic bowl with a lid. The vivi's from vision are made from the non leechy plastic, and of course you can buy a replacement tank for super cheap, so I'd give it a try if you know you have a vision one and not a knock off.

I clean mine all the time, it's really simple:

-Remove drip tip
-Clean drip tip however you want(hot water)
-Drain current juice from tank, if any
-Rinse with hot water, both ends
-Fill with hot water, plug both ends, and shake it up, drain again
-Rinse with hot water & blow out both ends
-Repeat 5-6 times until the wicks have a nice clean white look to them
-Blow out both ends until most of the water is out
-Set in sun for 4-5 hours
-Fill up with new juice
-VAPE!

Gonna try the Everclear this weekend. I tried cleaning everything in hot water all day and then soaked the metal parts in everclear when I got home. Darn thing still smells like black cherry. Plus side is it's one of the older versions, so if it doesn't work I'll just have to trash it.
