hi all. Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I can't seem to post in the hardware forum.

Anyway, I have a VIP BDC vape stick... Thing... and I'm having massive trouble with it leaking. Every time I take off the tank to charge the battery there's e-liquid in the contact on the battery and a fair bit in the underside of the coil assembly (where the air intakes are). I've tried changing coils and even different brands of coils but still it leaks.

I'm looking to get a new unit soon but until payday I'm stuck with this piece of garbage. Is there anything I can do in the short term?

If it is one of these:

it's a re-branded Aspire ET-S, of which I have and still use a few of. Seepage from the coil base is fairly normal for these units. Over-tightening the coil into the base can cause the leaks to be worse as you loose the seal to the chimney tube or distort the base seal to the point where it leaks. Removing and storing the tanks upside-down is the only sure cure I've found.
