Da South!
Use a progression of sandpaper, starting at around 120 and ending up with around 600 if you can find it. Go slow and take your time...its easier to take material off than put it back on! Once you have everything off and it sanded to a super smooth finish, you can go one more step and use a piece of leather with some polishing rouge on it...check out shops for straight razor users, and then seal it with some acrylic metal lacquer, use several THIN coats and gently buff between each coat with some 00 steel wool.

They are all aluminum. The battery connector pushes out from the inside. I used a dremel on mine and it was very easy. The top cap is the whole trick. It is hard to sand around the switch without scuffing it. I had to take mine apart but the end result was well worth it. I have a raw sb ,a red sb , a brown sb ,a candy apple red sb and I am about to do the same thing to an omega.I plan on powdercoating the Omega Kawasaki Green. The plate thats in the top cap-just use an o ring pick and pull it up carefully. What you will find is a pv series switch thats held in with epoxy. Dig out all of the epoxy you can by carefully picking it.Then you should be able to get the switch loose and slide it out slightly .At that point you can just sand around it carefully. But I was too tempted to keep going and I will never vape a stock Silver Bullet again. People trip when they see mine. The SB is a perfect mod.It is still light years ahead of its time.Kinda like Black Sabbath was back in their prime.Still nobody can touch what they did. Dont be scared to just go for it. Tear that sucker apart and post some pics when your done.

Do you have any before, during, & after pics of your Silver Bullet remodel? How easy or difficult was it to remove & reinstall the internals without damaging them & isn't the battery connector where you screw on your carto, atty or tank press fitted in? Reason I'm asking all of this is because I resently sent Chad the maker of the Silver Bullet a request to buy a "bare bones" SB so I can have it powder coated, when done I send it back to him to install the internals. Hopefully he'll accomodate my request. Hope to hear from you soon...Vape On!! & may the vape be with you.........:vapor: :vapor: :vapor: :vapor:

I completely forgot to ask you..I'm thinking of drilling some vent holes at the bottom of my SB when I get it & I'm not sure what size hole to drill, what would you recomend as far as size of vent hole & location of it..I was thinking maybe around the bottom of the tube 3 or 4 holes or on the very bottom where it sits 3 or 4 holes, I'd like to get your opinion on that.
