how can I thin out my high vg diy juice without adding more pg?

Try adding more flavor first, you'll be glad you did.
adding water or vodka dilutes the flavor as well as the juice.
I use 25% Flavors.
If the flavor your using is too concentrated then Everclear 190 Proof Grain Alcohol is best
although hard to get in some states. I find adding water makes it sizzly.

You can safely add up to 10% distilled water (99 cents a gallon in drug grocery). I would highly advise taking a small sample of your e juice and add a drop or two to start.
