How can I use temperature control on the Aspire Skystar Revvo kit best?

Hey guys,

so I bought the kit above and it is great - but how do I use temp control with it properly? I don't want to do something wrong, I have no idea which settings to use or if I can even use temp control with the only available ARC radial coil.

Please advise

It's a kanthal coil, so no temp control ability.

Get a tank that users SS coils (eg Crown, Triton) or RTA with SS. I just got some Fireluke Mesh SS "coils" but can't vouch for them yet.

I’ve used the Uwell crown tank with their drop-in .5 dual ss coils in temperature mode without issue. They also have a .25 ss coil that works in tc mode as well. Great tank, great coils and really cheap because it’s been out a few years.

Cheers for the inspiration, so then I need a new tank for that. I have a triton mini, so that one I could just try

The Triton mini is a good choice for temperature control with the available nickel coils. Just select Ni from the temp control coil selection menu on the Skystar, dial in the temperature you want (Aspire recommends 380F to 420F) and you're ready to vape. The bore on the Ni200 coils is just wide enough to allow for a slow, smooth direct lung draw with the air flow control ring wide open on the Triton mini.

The 19mm Triton mini tank might look a little undernourished on the Skystar mod with its' 25mm platform. Another idea, staying within the Aspire family, would be to use an Aspire Cleito Exo, at 23.5mm and widely available at under $20, with the available stainless steel temp. control coils.
