I used to think water just taste bad or didn't have a taste at all. I used to laugh when I seen ppl buy bottled water.
I thought why buy water when there is more regulation on the water that comes out of the tap than bottled water.

sense I started vaping. I have drank more water in the past 3 weeks, than I have in 10 years
I bought 2 gallon of distilled water yesterday and find it does in fact have a taste, and is better than water out of the tap. its just about gone now.

I know its better for me than the diet mountaindew I was drank for my hydration for the past 10 years, and it's cheaper..

only thing is I drink it all day and even b4 I go to bed at night. The down fall is I'm up early to go whiz. But the kidneys ought to be cleaned out by now..

I think for most people before vaping we believed we either had to quit or die one day from harmful tobacco smoke. Now, I know I never have to quit vaping if I don't want to. I believe vaping is that safe. (relatively speaking of course) Vaping takes that stress and worry off of you in both respects - you don't have to do something you really don't want to do (stop smoking) and you know you have stopped the harm of inhaling cigarette smoke.

I also used to think anti-smoking groups were just people who wanted to see people stop smoking for health benefits. Now after having met many of these ANTI smoking Zealots, I believe it's not about harm reduction for most of them, it's about them being right and forcing you to believe your a dirty little smoker who is addicted to a dirty little drug called nicotine and you should be punished like a bad child. It's more about addiction with them and their being right.

Vaping changed the way I think about a lot of things. For instance, I used to believe that ecigs didn't work when I first started. Now that I found the ECF, I believe that vaping is a viable option for people looking to quit cigs. Also, it made me re-think my thoughts regarding flavors in food. Since I smoked for most of my life. I think that I've missed what food was supposed to taste like for many years. Now, I can truly enjoy what I'm eating. Which might or might not be a good thing LOL

I used to think people that scoffed or groaned at the smell of a cigarette were being drama queens.

Now, I try to avoid the smell of one as often as I can. It truly is gross.

So true!!! I was sure no one could smell me.

I keep being amazed that I was walking around with something on fire in my hand all the dang time.

I used to think rolling tobacco tasted a lot better than carton cigs but not anymore, they both taste like licking an ashtray.

I used to think health organisation types did things out of concern for others, well, guess they really don't, it's all about the money. Ban snus? Try to push out ecigs? Why are you trying to get us all to quit by banning smoking indoors and maxing out the tax on cigarettes every year and making it harder and harder for a smoker to get by when you dismiss products that work in favour of expensive products that are shown not to work. Money and nothing but.

I used to think politics were for old people who had too much time on their hands. Now I think it's unfair the way the government and media throw out so much disinformation on revolutionary products to suit their own pockets, and I should be one of the people to say no to it.

I used to think I was going to die before I got to 30 but I feel like I got my life back!

I have even less respect for the police now. I never did get on with them, and I hate it when people say it's all about how I treat them. If I can be stopped for 30 minutes and be asked over and over if I do or sell drugs and get a ton of accusations thrown at me for using an ecig outside then they don't deserve my respect. I was nothing but polite and tried to explain what it was but they just wanted to bully me and see me squirm. Not the first time I've been accused of something I've not done by them. I doubt it's the last time I get pulled up for using something legal and get genuinely harassed about it.

I'm much more aware of the media and government in general now, as well as the nhs and simply questioning what I'm meant to be spoon fed more often.

I'm still not a lover of water but it will do in a pinch. I've noticed that things that used to just stink to me now smell so bad I wanna puke. I used to use bleach to clean but now I can't stand it. My sense of taste is still coming and going but I found that I like more foods than I used to and I'm more willing to try new foods. So much has changed since I started I'm still amazed.

The main shift for me revolved around maintenance: with cigs it didn't matter if I dropped one in a puddle or even lost the whole pack, as I could go anywhere & get a new one. Now I have to make sure I keep a full carto or 2, and at least one charged battery depending on my traveling situation. I really can't drop the KGO or leave it sitting around, and I must be more careful not to misplace it - I have had many problems "losing" my ecig & having to take 5 minutes to find the darn thing. I do have several complete ecigs, so it wouldn't kill me if one was lost, but that is a $25+ loss as opposed to the $6 loss of a cig pack.

In my work my hands often end up filthy & greasy, so I have to clean them more frequently & take more care when using the ecig, as electrical equipment requires more cleanliness than a paper tube of dead plants. I also have to take more care not to damage the ecig in my pocket.

I rolled my own cigs typically, so I actually save time even with added ecig upkeep, but cleaning, filling, & maintaining the equipment is more technical than rolling up a few analogs; there is also much more organization involved, what with the juices, cones, cartos, tanks, batteries & chargers, attys... etc.

Have not noticed any increased fluid intake or dehydration. For me the biggest change was an increased need to stay organized & take more care with the new equipment.
