Originaly I read about them in an online news article, probably MSNBC, and that was close to two years ago. Late this spring, I was listening to Howard Stern, and one of the show producers was talking about how he had taken up vaping and how satisfying it was when compared to his prior smoking habit. Piqued my interest enough to start research, and I was lucky enough to find a supplier within 20 miles of my home. Pricing was competitive, so I got my 510 gear and have been vaping Johnson Creek juices ever since.
I took my time, and tapered tobacco use gradually to none over a period of a month or so.
I haven't smoked a Camel in about 4 months now, and that is after a 35 year pack-a-day or better habit.
Never thought it would happen.
I started out with 24mg juice, and have tapered that down gradually, I'm about to start my first bottle of 11mg juice this week.
Oh, I average 2 to 2-1/4 ml per day, or a 30ml bottle every two weeks. and I finally got to the point where atomizers are lasting 4-5 weeks or 2-3 bottles of juice before I replace them.
The whole experience changed for me when I got my nicostick boxmod together and gave up on standard e-cig batteries.
I now spend about 40% of my previous smoking budget in my habit, and couldn't be happier.:D

I found an affiliate link for Green Smoke buried in the code of a wordpress template I'd downloaded to modify !?!
And then some firefox addon author asked for a click through to them in lieu of a donation.
I was impressed enough that they'd weaseled their way in to my demographic that I checked it out. heh.

Didn't buy one from them though, I found this forum and after a crap ton of research got a 510 instead.

I saw an ad for e-cigarettes, I think on the coasttocoast homepage back in August.
I'm not sure what made me click the link as I had never heard of e-cigs before, I think it just looked interesting.
Also I remember I was starting to feel very tired from smoking too much, I think I knew it was time to cut down or quit and this solution just presented itself at the right time. I found an NJoy seller in the UK the same night.

I saw a Blu ad on somethingawful.com. Clicked on the link just to see what it was about. Watched their video. Searched for online reviews, thinking it was the only electronic cigarette out there (I live a sheltered life, I guess), stumbled onto a link for ECF, joined, posted, read recommendation for Joye 510 from cignot.com, ordered one, read more threads while waiting for delivery, got 510, loved it from the start.

I can't believe I never heard of these before but man, if it wasn't for ECF I would have probably ordered a Blu and quit vaping the first day I had one.
ECF and its members: I owe you all, big time. Best move I've made in years.

I was walking threw the mall and saw Smoke Everywhere. Loved their adaption of the 801 but then found this place and got a 901 which I broke..ordered another 901 (love the vaper off it) and my changer got destroyed when I took a flight to AZ. Came home ordered the Prodigy and have been slowly beating my analog addiction.

I read an article in the NY Times. Started researching online. Wish I had found this forum before I started buying but.....I actually quit smoking with my first try and a Blu. Went on to a 510 and now am happily puffing away on my two Little Chucks. Never intended to quit, just find something I could use when I couldn't smoke.

My first experience with an ecig was while waiting for a table at a restaurant. The lady in line behind me pulled one out and took a big hit ... right there - in public. I was flabbergasted & jealous !! Then I noticed a gal at work using one. She has since gone back to analogs. Still amazes me though ... I work with about 200 smokers and I am the only one vaping. I have no idea why it is not catching on.

I first found them in the mall. I went to the Smoking Everywhere kiosk and talked to a middle eastern looking guy with a french accent. He said "Wood jew like to queet zmoking doday? Zen zeece wheel help jew queet." He then went on to give me a 10 minute sppech on how great these little e-cigs were. He gave me one to try and I puffed it for about 10 minutes. I ended up walking away with a nice nicotine buzz. I left, but ended up going back the next day to buy one. Of course I payed way to much for it, and was really dissapointed when I got home and found that the atty was bad. I had to go bakc the next day and they happily replaced the atty for me. This time I made sure that it worked before I left. I was really happy with it until I got home that night. I was looking online for consumables for my new SE and stumbled across this site. I immediately joind and started reading the posts here and looking at some of the supporting vendor sites as well. You can imagine my dissapointment when I found the same 4081 on vendoe sites for 35-40 bucks. I had just payed about 160 for my SE and a 10 ml bottle of juice.

Although I was dissapointed I payed to much, I just told myself to .... and enjoy it. That is what I have been doing ever since and now I'm glad I got it. I did end up buying a 510 from The Safer Way To Smoke - Home This is where I first saw the 4081 at a fraction of the cost I payed for the SE.

I am still really happy with the 4081 and now I also have a 510 to enjoy as well. I'm glad that there was a SE kiosk at the local mall. If they were not there, I would be smoking an analog instead of making this post. :)

Was looking at a local news website and saw a banner ad for a free trial for an e-cig so went to check it out. It was a Smoking Everywhere. Red their terms and conditions and found all the extra charges burried in there so figured there had to be someting better so did a quick google search and found these forums. Read everything I could here for 4 solid days..finally settled on a 501...checked a local shop...and am now sifting through supplier sites looking for the best deal I can find on 501 starter kits (seems I'm also having a problem finding a supplier that has an actual phone to ask questions instead of just an email contact form (seems my local smoke shop is having the same issue guess he's looking to carry e-cigars, e-pipes, and quality e-cigs but can't find a supplier that has phone contact or will even call and respond to an email forrm))

Use the link in my previous post. The have a phone number that you can call. I forgot the guys name, but he is a really cool guy that will anwer any questions you have. Plus he ships USPS Priority mail for only 5 bucks. I think you can find it cheaper if you order from China, but who needs that worry. If customs stops the shipment, you will be hosed. Just buy locally and you wont be dissapointed.
