U gotta be ready make the committment I start with an egoc tist with a ce6 clearomizer hella nicotine and every time I wanted one I'd vape away

I disagree stating, unilaterally, that one has to make a commitment to make the switch. I posted earlier on this thread that I had no intention of quitting after 30 years of smoking cigarettes. Stumbled upon vaping. Now two years smoke free. Whatever works for the individual is the best solution.

First of all i have to admit that i have not entirely quite yet. With that being said my smoke consumption is WAY down since i started vaping, with minimal effort.
For me i've come to a few realizations:
1. No one particular vaping experience can 100% duplicate all the sensations of a cigarette. For me i believe this and its ok to admit that there is some sensation that is unique and specific to an analog cigarette.
2. Its seems that its more important to addict myself to vaping, instead of trying to fool myself into thinking that vaping is the same or better than smoking. What i've noticed along my journey is that i've started to crave vapor and almost forget about smoking.

Camel non filters → Snus → Vape

I tried Snus packets before and they're decent. I still prefer my little vaporizer over everything I've tried so far but Snus is way better than taking a wad of dip and spitting tar into your empty soda can. I worked at the Hilton Coliseum in Ames for one summer when I was young and made extra money cleaning up bleachers. After a country music show there were dixie cups filled with disgusting brown saliva EVERYWHERE and it made me want to vomit.

I'd been smoking for 14 years and was tired of all the crap that comes with it (Ashes, butts, the smell, coughing, etc). Tried a few disposable ones that I wasn't impressed with, then tried the Blu. More nicotine and it tasted and felt pretty close, but still I'd have my morning smoke. Then I got an eGo-CTwist and a couple tanks. I've taken 1 drag from a cig since the day I got my ego. It tasted horrible and felt dirty. That was almost a month ago. Vaping coconut juice from MBV in an EVOD right now, very tasty. Never, ever going back to cigs.

When I drink....I like tobacco flavored juice. Just cause cigarettes and alcohol went so hand in hand before.

But stopped smoking after 21 years two weeks ago thanks to vaping. So far it has been easy for me. A HUGE factor is not wanting to spend $8 a pack again. I compare a pack to a 30ml bottle and it's a turn off like that.

Having been a smoker for over 50 years I can't count the number of times a tried to quit. Patches, pills, ect all failed. I bought a cheap ego kit w/ce4 atomizers and haven't smoked in over a year now. Now have a lot of different PV devices and atomizers, but it was the little ego that did it for me.

Still use the ego and Ce atomizers at times. This time I am going to say I quit smoking:)

Smoke free for nine months now. Tried vaping around a year ago and cut back a lot but never really quit. Went to the doctor for the forth time in a year for bronchitis and he told me I was borderline asthmatic. Got on some Welbutrin and nicotine gum and set a quit date. Made the quit date but man I was suffering. So I read a lot about Swedish snus and how it helped a lot of people get over the quitting hump. I also had most of my old vape stuff around so I also used that for times I just wanted to kick back and relax. Nine months later I'm still smoke free, never cheated, never slipped, and I'm off the Welbutrin and nicotine gum. Basically use a few portions of Swedish snus a day and vape when I feel like it.

If you vape and feel that something is still missing, trying snus may help. Just make sure to use the Swedish snus. American snus from Camel and Marlboro are low in nicotine and satisfaction.

I vaped 30mg and 24mg juice for a week or two and thats all it took. I set no restriction on the amount i vaped and have slowly lowered the nic in my juices at a comfortable pace. It did not take long before i thought an analog smelled and tasted horrible.

IMO once you can get to the "smell and taste horrible" part. You have a great chance at succeeding.

I also get myself gifts as a reward for sticking to it. I treated myself to a fat porterhouse steak at 30 days. I got a MVP v2 at 60 days. At 90days im getting a Made in USA carto tank with SS end caps. My next gift to myself will be at 6 months and 1 year.

Stopped smoking in September of 2012 using Chantix. My 2nd time quitting with the pills. First time in 2007 lasted 6 months. After being diagnosed with a heart murmer and irregular heartbeat, had to quit. After being quit for about 6 months a family illness caused a very stressful time and I was afraid of going back to smokes. Bought a BLU kit and started learning from there. Now I'm a White Clouds Fling user with no desire for an analog. I really enjoy the taste of the Flings and not denying myself the "lifestyle" that I so missed. I think I got over the nicotine easy enough but never got over the lifestyle.

Started smoking in high school, quit for my first semester of college, then started up again.

Smoked for a LONG time after that . . .

Then I tried Wellbutrin and gum (which tasted SO nasty) but was able to quit for a month, then started up again.

Smoked for a LONG time after that . . .

Got PREGGO and quit immediately while pregnant and nursing, then started up again after the hubs was hit by a car while he was riding his bike home from work. (He's ok now though!)

Smoked for a while after that . . . then . . . I found out about vaping . . . and the rest is history!

I was able to quit cold turkey on a cheap Walmart e-cig (Fin), then got a BLU, then got a Halo G6, then got an eGo system, now I'm using an MVP 2.0 and an iTaste VV v3 and haven't looked back.

Hello....this is my first post/reply to any topic in this forum. I basically read and learn and read and learn.

I have been a moderate to heavy smoker for 53 years until I has a massive stroke in 2011. I totally lost the left side of my body for an hour and a half but was caught within the 3-hour window and with the grace of God I am back like nothing happened....hence I am vaping and have been for the 4 months now.

Mark Twain wrote....the easiest thing to do is to stop smoking because I have done it a thousand times before. This is not a direct quote but the essence is there. I exerted countless efforts but never succeeded. My system kept craving for nicotine and the longest clean period was two months and thanks to vaping I am able to sleep well with very manageable withdrawal trips. With vaping I am still able to feed my addiction but with lesser and lesser nicotine. 12Mg was my start and am now on 10 and hope to drop to 6 by the end of November 2013.

I no longer wake with congested nasal passages and now with a clear morning throat. I still run out of breath when I do my late afternoon walks but breathing easier.

Thank you fellow vapers. I am now tied to my provari mini black, protank II and having fun with my wife smiling by my side.

Goodbye to smoking.....good riddance to the killer tar and I no longer smell like a stale ashtray.

One plugged artery in my heart and one 80% plugged (commonly know as a heart attack). My "widow maker" was only 50% plugged.

A couple stints and a couple weeks of patches and the Dr telling me next time I won't be so lucky next time did the trick (70% of his patients don't quit so he claimed).

Been almost 3 years and started vaping (was told if I don't smoke don't vape)

Bought a pack of cigs, went back after smoking 1/2 of them and feeling like crap and started vaping.

Guess we'll see how bad 0, 3 (mostly) or 6 mg of nic is for ya.

Waiting in the drs office the other day was told to vape my happy ... off - can't be that bad, had a pot of coffee filled with caffeine for all sitting right next to me.
