One pack a day smoker, started off 12mg with egos, dropped to 6mg with the russian & provari, still at 6mgs with tanks, but when I drip I have to drop to 3mgs or I get a sore throat. In fact I can only do lung hits on 3 mgs.

I still keep 12 mg of my favourite juices, for when I know I am going out partying.

So I can't say I have reduced my nic levels in all honesty, it just seems to change with the type of attys I use.

Started at 0, didn't work and I couldn't put down the cigarettes. Ended up bumping to 6 and rocked that for about a year going from egos to using Kayfuns. All of last year I used an orchid v4 and had to drop down to 3mg as I switched from mouth inhaling to lung hitting. The last couple months have been a total change. Moved to using drippers 75% of the time with Clapton coils and higher watts (50-80) and in my non dripping time I use an aromamizer with dual claptons at 50w. I am now down to .5mg nic and happy. I went from 1.5 down to .8 then down to .5 in about two weeks after starting to use them on a daily basis at higher wattage. The drippers burn through so much more juice I felt I sould cut down and I am happy. I was using about 6ml of juice a day in my orchids and now I use about 12-15ml a day in my various drippers. I vape unflavored juice with .5% menthol pg liquid put in at 70pg30vg. I dIY my juice.

Started at 24mg using vivi novas then once i moved on to rebuildables knocked it right down it 12mg...... now im down to 3mg seeing as i drip most of the time, might see how i go dropping a little further but im pretty content with where i am at the moment. It has taken me a couple years to get down to 3.

Ego & tds: 18mg and stepped down to 12
MVP & protank II: stayed at 12mg
Sigelei 100w & RTAs: Stepped down to 6
Mechs and RDAs: Stepped down to 3

Right now, I drip 99% of the time and mix juice between 2 & 3mg but am about to mix some 0 to drip when I'm just hanging around the house at night and work it into the rotation during the day also until I'm off nic completely.

Over a year ago I went from 24mg down to 18mg. A month later I dropped to 12mg and a month after that I went to 6mg. Later on I went to 3mg. I tried 0mg for a while and it was too bland without a little nic, so I stabilized at 3mg.

It's interesting that the small amount of nic burn is still noticeable at 3mg and 10 watts.

Oh well, when I started out with my early ego rig I bought a bottle of 18 mg juice recommended by the guy in the vape booth at the flea market who sold me my ego/clearo vaping rig. I soon realized it was just too much nic and I couldn't handle it. A couple weeks later I was using a genny on a mech and vaping 12mg juice, and not long after that I was making my own juice instead of paying $80 a week to the B&M. Now, 3 years later, I'm vaping 10mg juice, still in gennies on mechs.

I started with Egos at 6mg, switched to 9mg with my Nautilus and graduated to 12mg on my kayfun and then later the Squape and was pretty much chainvaping.
Switched to drippers entirely, still 12mg. No longer chainvaping and juice consumption has actually gone down when compared to when I was still using tanks.

I dont believe the nicotine to be an issue, less juice consumption (flavor) would be better in my opinion.

I started at 18mg and while I have some mixed bottles of 12mg and 9mg, I cycle through all of them during the day/week.

I would have to chain vape my "pen" setup with 18mg until the battery was dead (2-4hrs) the 'subtanks' and Smok TFV4's allow me to take a few puffs here and there and be satisfied.

Most folks (including myself) would rather not chain vape 18mg out of a TFV4.

Started at 18-24 mg, dropped to 12mg on eGo/Riva devices (same with my Reo Grand). If I found flavors I REALLY enjoyed I would get them in 6 mg to keep from getting myself sick from vaping them too much. When I got back into vaping again, I went sub-ohm and had to go down to 3 mg, 6mg is too much for me to handle as a general rule now with direct lung vaping.

Yep a lot more efficient Wicking, Power delivery so it's all different from one to another in progression, and you are correct in that your nic level must be adjusted. IMHO it makes it so much easier and enjoyable to quit smoking Cigs. Enjoy the journey. And keep learning it makes that journey so much more enjoyable

I started with an iWand and 18mg juice, which was awful (the iWand fell apart after a month!) and leaked everywhere - that might have had something to do with it being 70/30 PG/VG - very runny stuff!
I was still smoking at that time (part time mouth-to-lung vaping) so I wasn't serious about quitting cigarettes until I got a Joyetech eGo C, which I stuck with for over a year, which ultimately helped me quit smoking - same juice though, so the same leaks!

About a year ago I changed to 6mg 70/30 VG/PG (full lung vapes) - and started building for my RTAs and RDAs - never looked back.
No leaks, no real jolt to my nic threshold, just seems to have been seamless - been smoke free for two years now, and very happy

Started off with 24mg 3 years ago, using CE4+. After a week or so, switched to EVOD and reduced to 18mg. After a months or so, switched to RSST and reduced to 12mg. Then 2 months later switched to 9mg and every since i've been reducing my nic level for 0.5mg every 3-4 months. That way i'm keeping my self within 5ml per day consumption without any nicotine cravings and similar undesired side effects.
