I'm guessing they can't be immersed in water.

Oh but, you can. Water is even a common thinning agent in e-liquids.

    edit:
There is also no need to let an atomizer dry for 24hrs like you need to do with a carto. Since juice is both water or alcohol soluble, both water and alcohol are juice soluble.
So just rince out the atty with warm watter, blow it out, add juice and vape away.

I have changed flavors but because the previous flavor was a strong blueberry flavor it is still there.

I have wiped it with a piece of kitchen towel but that doesn't help, I'm guessing they can't be immersed in water.

Some of the flavors are so hard to get out. I just prefer to use a diffrent atomizer for each flavor.......

Jacq, it is electrical but no issue to run it under your sinks hot water, blow it out, shake if needed. Dry it the best you can, re-prime with a couple of drops, vape away. You can dry for 24 hours if you want. I don't.

This is what I did with my Ego-T atty, ran it under water and blew through the cone end, Amazing the gunk that came out:ohmy: kept at it until it ran clear and it's made a world of difference! I didn't dry mine out though, just threw on a tank and started vaping:vapor:

Seriously? you can wash them? Thanks I will give that a go.
I hate to doubt you but I assumed it was electrical.

It would be a good idea to remove the atty from the battery before washing  That way it is no longer electrical.
Would you believe that little 510-T is my favorite direct dripping atty? (wick plate removed) It is almost like a 306 atty inside a 510 shell underneath that plate.

Don't know what the cone end is. Do I blow from the battery thread end or the carto end? or both? I am definitely going to give it a go anyhow.
Thanks everyone for your help. I love this forum.
I have been Direct Dripping for 2 years, I like the Genuine JOYEs the best. I never boil or soak my attys... I keep them clean by blowing them out a few times a day... Thats all that is really needed.. Even though they still work I replace them about every 3-4 weeks as thier performance and taste diminish over time... BLOW from the end where your TIP is... The one atty that says to blow from the screw end is the HH 357 ...

I use some 100% VG juice and found the water wasn't always doing the trick and that's why I use vodka. Seems to cut the goo better.

I use PGA (pure grain alcohol/Everclear) when i'm using atties but I've mostly switched to cartos just for the ease of use/tossablity factor lately.
