Another option is the 'dry burn'. It's - I think - the easiest method.
Step 1: Disassemble your atomiser - unscrew it from the battery, pop off the cartridge.
Step 2: Dry your atomiser - over the sink or a paper towel, blow reasonably hard through the atomiser from the end that the cartridge comes out of until you aren't getting much liquid coming out.
Step 3: Rinse your atomiser - Run the hot tap until it's hot and hold the atomiser in the stream so it's soaked through.
Step 4: Blow the atomiser out again
Step 5: Screw your atomiser back onto the battery after drying it and hold the button to fire the atomiser.
Step 6: Keep re-pressing the button every 5 seconds or so as it'll cut out after about 10 seconds. Gently blow into the atomiser as it starts to "smoke".
Step 7: Keep firing the atomiser and gently blowing into it until you can clearly see the wick in the spiking nozzle in the centre of the atomiser glow red. Maintain this glow for 10 - 20 seconds, then let it cool down.
Step 8: Give the atomiser a few minutes to cool then hold the button down to fire the atomiser again until you see the wick glowing red and maintain it for 10 seconds.
You're now good to go. It's what I used to do with my ego T atomisers anyhoo.
