How do I dilute 100mg PG Nicotine?

I am a new DIYer and have been doing my research. Following a Youtube tutorial, I bought a 125ml of 100mg 100% PG Nicotine from MFS. I've mixed a few batches already and feel that the throat hit is a little harsh. After doing more research, I keep finding posts about and instructions telling people that you must dilute 100mg juice.

So my question is, do they mean diluting it when you're mixing it with your batch of juice with VG, PG and flavoring? Or do they mean dilute the nicotine as a whole before mixing?

Regardless, I would like to dilute my nicotine to a lower level just for safety purposes.

So how do I dilute my 125ml 100mg PG Nicotine juice to something lower, to say, 50mg or 40 mg?

That is still pretty high ....why not 24mg???? Better safe then sorry.

Sorry, I think I might have confused you guys. I'm not trying to vape 50mg or 40mg. I just want to dilute the nicotine liquid itself to 50mg or 40mg, so it's safer to mix and hopefully it comes out less harsh. I usually vaped 4-6mg when I mix using the e-juice calculator.

Are you using 100mg/mL nic but without PG/VG to dilute the nic in the mix? Please most a link to the Youtube tutorial or let us know what formula/recipe you are mixing.

As for your question, just download and install ejuicemeup, it have all the features you need for diluting/mixing.

Add 125ml of either PG or VG (or a combination of both) to you nicotine liquid. That would cut your mg level down to 50mg per ml. Still a very high amount. I would also recommend cutting again, which would be adding another 250ml of PG or VG to your overall liquid. This would yield 25mg per ml.

When I mix, I usually add only add 0.6ml of the 100mg nic.

I see, in that case, I would dilute it with PG using 1:1 to get 50mg/mL or 1:3 to get 25mg/mL which will make it easier to work with.

Thanks cedric212! That just confirms Nicdamus reply. I will mix it with 125ml of PG so it's safer to handle.

Never have a problem working with 100mg. Keep it in small bottles and use eJuicemeup to work all mixes.

Is it safe to put nicotine in the plastic dropper bottles? Or should it be strictly glass bottles?

Glass is Better for long term storage, Plastic is ok for short term storage. Since you only vape 4-6 mg juice and you have 100 mg juice. It's going to last a while. You can store it in smaller glass bottles in the freezer to extend the LIFE of the Nicotene. Be carefull to use accurate measurements with your Nicotene and treat it with a saftey first mentality and you will be fine.

I personally do not dilute my 100mg prior to mixing. Being that you are new to DIY, you may cut it down as a precaution when handling.
Most vendors sell their Nic in plastic bottles. I get mine from MFS and it comes in a glass bottle. I prefer glass.
