I drip using a joye ego. i've noticed that the vapor isn't as warm as on my joye 510 or other devices. i'm using low resistance atomizers. i'm still getting vapor but it is not warm. i've tried it with the wick and bridge attached and with them gone and still the vapor isn't warm. is this common to the ego or am i doing something wrong?

Warmth comes from resistance and more warmth in vapor comes in terms of wattage.

Volts of the battery, divided by the ohms of the atomizer, times the volts of the battery will give you the wattage - power. At a certain point, the more wattage used will burn out atomizers and lose flavor. Some prefer somewhere between 6 and 8watts. Some like as much as 10W but you have to pay more attention - no long draws, keeping the atty soaked - at that range.

Regular and mega 510 batts = @3.1 volts.
eGo/tornado batts = @3.2-3.4volts
mod batts - 14500, 18650 etc. = 3.7-4.19volts the top rate only for a bit off the charger.

Regular 510 atty 2.1-2.3 ohms
LR attys @1.5 - 1.7ohms

Some, including myself, will say that the cone helps warm the vapor. But...do the math. Better, get a multimeter and meter each and then do the math.
