How do I know if a coil can handle V/V?

I've got an Arc Mini but I wanna use my tank from my Truvape Xenos which uses a 1.8ohm coil head which was on a V/W battery it came with, how could I know is if it could be used with a V/V device?

It sure could/can.

Example: If You vaped at - lets assume - 10 Watts...with 1,8 ohms, that are 4.24 Volts.

Only coils like ni200 and titanium needs mods that run in temperature control mode. Kanthal, n80, and 316ss can be ran in power or vv/vw mode. As long as your battery can safely provide enough amps.
Highly recommend beginner's to check out battery safety and ohms law.

As far as I understand it any coil can be run in wattage or voltage modes but the ones for TC do perform better in TC Mode. I find that SS316L in TC mode delivers the smoothest most pleasant vaping experience for me.

If it has a built-in battery all you need to do is stay within the recommended ohms. Usually 18650s are labeled with a continuous amp rating. How ever a lot of companies rebrand them and put fake outrageous ratings on them. Mooch has a chart on what's good.

Yup always good to know what the lowest ohm your mod can fire at. Sadly I couldn't find any info on the arc or curve mini.
