I am trying to sub ohm some eliquid that is 80%pg is there a safe way for me to make it thinner? EDIT (I am asking because when I press the button it does not produce much vapor at all (but enough that I do know it is working)).

PG is thin...VG is thick. Usually want higher VG for sub-ohming. Anyway, if you need to thin, use a bit of PGA (Everclear) or vodka.
80pg should be fairly thin and running. Do you mean vg? More vg equals bigger vapor production and pg carries flavor better and has a more throat hit.
Best way to thin anything is with a drop (or 2 or 3...) of distilled water.
Easy does it, a little at at a time...you don't want to thin anything too much.
