I might be getting myself an mvp 2 as well as my girlfriend one, and i just wanted to know how much people like them

Crazyblade, it's what I started on and will always have one in my lineup of gear. Even though I have ProVaris and a Vapor Shark now, I still manage to use one of 4 of my MVPs a couple times a week. It's my first love and got me off a 53 yr smoking habit in one day! 
One of the most highly recommended batteries for someone new or someone upgrading from an ego sized battery. I would wait a few weeks as the MVP v3 is going to be showing up very soon.

I still like mine. I wish the usb port was on the front or side but otherwise have no gripes with it.
Great device in my opinion, for the price, a good buy ...pretty durable, reliable, easy to use, good battery life. If your girl wants bling, they have shine versions of the mvp 2 or wraps for them too. And yes the newer versions are coming soon...good luck and welcome to ecf
The MVP2 is a great starter mod. User-friendly, worry-free, and an overall great vaping device. The battery life is a big plus, and I find the form factor to be pretty comfortable in my hand. Let's just say that I'm looking forward to the new versions coming out, since I've been enjoying mine since August. If you'd like one right now, I'd pick up the 20 watt version. From what I've seen, it's the same shape except with an improved 510 connection and the added power output.

Love both of mine and still use them on a daily basis. I Don't go higher than 10w so they are perfect for me. As others have said the MVP3 is out and I have seen it at some venders so that is another option. I am not sold on the version 3. If I need a replacement for one of mine when they die, if I cannot find another one I may just switch to the iStick instead of picking up a 3
This people like them very much. I have two in case the first one dies. My backup has been waiting patiently for over a year for this to happen.

It sits in my tool belt at work and has never let me down. Proven and reliable, and tough to beat for the price. Just my 
Bought my MVP 2 to use at home though like them so much I take them with me. Compact easy to use and comfortable in my hand.

This is NOT an MVP 3. It is the MVP 20W which is a minor upgrade from the MVP 2. The upgrades are the 510 connector and 20 watt output. The MVP 3 has not been released yet.
My MVP2 marks my progression from Egos. Used it continuously for two months (it was the best I had at that point). It'll always hold a special place in my heart lol.
However, its 11 watts couldn't keep pace with my escalating desire for MORE POWER. I don't regret buying it. It's my bangaround and traveling batt now, but I've moved on.
As to recommending it. Four months ago I'd have done so with gusto, but its specs are now basically obsolete. I don't have its V3 successor in hand, so can't comment there, but if it's as tight a device as the MVP 2 I'd go for that.
