How do the Volts from the batteries correspond with the ohms of a cartomizer

You can use a ton of different types of atomizers and cartomizers on that battery, but here's what I used with success. A LR or low resistance cartomizer 1.5-2.0ohms, SR or standard resistance 3.0ohms, any of the stardust clearomizer styles they all fit ego batts, Dual-coil 1.5 ohm cartomizers or ego mega dual coil cartomizers. Try the Smoktech ego mega dual coil cartos if you can order them online or you might have store near you. I know madvapes sells them. I found they work great and provide a ton of TH and flavor. Plus they look good as they are flush with the battery making it look like a big cigar. Like Maccafan said fully charged battery in good working condition you are getting 3.3 volts. Check out the safe vaping chart at 3.3 volts you are good from 1.5 to 3.0ohms. Although you will definitely get less vapor and TH at 3.0ohms. Lower the resistance burns hotter and more TH and vapor on your battery.

I hope this helps fullchart.jpg

Also, this was in a post I read. It may even be in the link I posted.

Best ratio is determined by vaping and finding out what suits you best..There is no best ratio as a number..It's all down to the individual..It's like some like no sugar, some like one sugar and some like two sugars with their coffee..

Also for the same ratio, the experience will be different with different devices and e-liquids like top coil or bottom coil or dual coil etc.,..As an introduction, I would just get a ego-c twist to experiment at different voltage settings with different attachments and settle on what suits me best..

As a rule of thumb..More wattage (higher voltage or lower resistance or a combination thereof)= Hotter vape in single coils but this is not true for Dual or triple coils.

You can work backwards to it. Watts (heat/power) = Voltage squared divided by ohms. Most like between 7 and 9 watts. So if you know your device's voltage (3.4 for many eGo units) you can figure the ohms. Also try here....

Ohm's Law Calculator
Plug in any two values (like volts and Power/watts) and get em all.

Vapor production goes up as watts go up (to a point). Taste goes down, IMO. Cooler vapes have more flavor than very hot ones. Nic effect goes up too as watts increase.

If it is a genuine ego-t with Joytech branding it will be outputting 3.3 volts regulated on load.. There are too many clones which offer unregulated supply for me to say with any degree of certainty what ego battery you have..

But I would just find out what suits me by experimenting with different attachments and e-liquids as there are too many variables which can affect the vape..

The new genuine Joyetech batts can switch between regulated 3.4 and unregulated battery voltage.
Not all of them..

Only the ego-C upgrade battery can do that..

Original ego--> no 5 click off..3.3 volt regulated
ego-T--> 5 click on-off..3.3 volt regulated
ego-C--> 5 click on-off and button colour changes from white to blue to dark blue as battery voltage drops..3.3 volt regulated
ego-C upgrade--> as above + ability to switch between regulated 3.3 and unregulated voltage
ego-c twist--> Voltage can be varied by twisting the end pot + 5 click on-off and unregulated output.

All of the above are for genuine Joyetech batteries..

My genuine Joye eGo-C Twist has 5 click on-off, just tested it :)

That was true a year ago, not any more.

Joye basically makes three types now (T or C is the atomizer, not the battery)
    #1 3.4v regulated
    #2 3.4v regulated switchable to unregulated 3.7v
    #3 VV adjustible from 3.3 to 4.8v

Each of the three may or may not have additional features depending on how a vendor orders them.

Sorry but the battery is slightly different too ..The C type batteries are marginally longer..

It may very well be that Joyetech only make those batteries that you mention in the present, but the original T and C type batteries still abound in the market.

    ego-T 650 mAh

[Joyetech] Joye eGo T 650mAh Manual Battery

    ego-C 650 mAh

    [Joyetech] Joye eGo-C 650mAh Battery [Joye eGo C 650] - $16.50 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

    ego-C upgrade 650 mAh

[Joyetech] Joye eGo-C Upgrade 650mAh Battery

    Twist:

[Joyetech] Joye eGo C Twist Variable Voltage 650mAh Battery

Agree that they are visually indistingushable except maybe the twist because of it's length.

So if anyone has a genuine ego-T then it is certain it is a regulated 3.3 volt device..

Did you see the safe vaping chart? Posted twice up above and answers your question. Don't worry about the numbers inside the cells/boxes that is the wattage which you don't need to concern yourself with. Just look across the top for 3.3V and then down the left side you have the ohms of the cartomizers. Everything in green is good to go.

The more I see that chart, the more I disagree with it. Who actually gets a "good" vape from 4 watts? VERY few. And how many vapers are running over 8 watts with zero issues? A lot.

In this case, the terms "safe" and "best" are subjective and a matter of opinion. The red area can give a false sense of danger. Nichrome melts at around 2500*F and most lead free solder is around 400*F. The poly fill or wick material is going to burn and give the most discussing taste you've ever experienced before either of those 2 things melt. As long as you keep things wet there is little to worry about.

In the end, vape what you like and what tastes good to you. Only experimentation is going to tell you what you like. For a quick refernce and starting point, the chart is okay. Don't hold back and settle for a less than satisfiying vape because a chart says that you are in the red zone.

Preach on! Many will scoff at 4 watts, but when I first started vaping I preferred a lower wattage. I used a 3.0 ohm carto on my Ego batts and liked the cool vape at less than 4 watts. So again very subjective but the chart is a good general guide, and the green is actually best vapor vs carto/atty life not necessarily the "best" vape. Some people are looking to make their cartos and atty's last longer. Some people don't like to have burnt juice in their mouth ever. Some people don't care and will just let it rip. I've become one of the latter :D
