I roll with a 29 ga true / proper micro coil - it's wrapped around a 1.5mm rod and is 1.6 ohms. It's wicked with CVS sterile rolled cotton and vapes like a proper micro coil should.
By the way, just cause you scrunched your wraps together don't make that big ole coil a micro coil. It's amazing how many people I see that have COMPLETELY misconstrued the concept.
Try making one that complies with this little fact sheet then you can say you vaped a micro coil
What's hilarious is that the original micro coil (How is it that I know this? cause I built it and started the original micro coil threads) started as just a very tiny diameter coil with wraps that were close to touching and some touching. It evolved to include mostly touching wraps as our build skills increased.
The part where you have to "fire and squeeze your coil" for it to be a micro was proliferated by people on YouTube who got their misinformation like third hand and expounded upon it. Even a slightly skilled builder does not need fire to get their wraps to touch
