How do you clean your droppers/syringes?

What's the best way to rinse off the flavors you get on your droppers and syringes? Distilled water? Just rinse, or wash?

I use a cup of hot water. Just suck some up into the syringe, then shoot it out a few times.

I turn the water in the kitchen sink on as hot as it will go and let it run for a couple minutes. Then I run whatever it is that needs to be cleaned under the water. I also suck some of the water into the droppers and squirt it out. Does a good job of cleaning.
