How do you cope on-the-go?

As I said in my First Post a bit earlier, I'm 100% on this bandwagon. I've got a 510, a handful of batteries, an eGo on the way, etc.

At home, life is pretty simple. I drip into a 510 atomizer with a drip tip (right now, Halo Menthol Ice or Vapor Renu Honey Wood Menthol).

On the go, or in the office it's another story. I've got a USB thumb drive case that I carry some batteries, some Joye 510 and E2 cartomizers and a few small bottles of juice in, but I'm still trying to get to a point where on-the-go is hassle free. Still in figuring-it-out mode, so to speak..

So I ask you, what do you use when you are out and about? How do you carry it? What most eliminates the hassles or complexity of using your PV instead of just a pack of smokes and a lighter?

Obviously I'm willing to tolerate some level of hassle, but I'm sure some of you have come up with some great ideas that those of us who are new could learn from...

One last point -- I'm not sure about the eGo at work just yet. I ordered it from Liberty Flights pm their $40 sale (was waiting for the $30 Riva kit to come back in stock, but decided that +$10 for the eGo seemed like a reasonable deal) -- basically I'm not sure I want to be out on a "smoke break" sucking on something that looks more like a sex toy than a cigarette :p

Sent from my iPad -- please excuse any typos.

Well the eGo would be a pretty small sex toy! But when I can not drip and carrying around the Provape isn't appropriate I pull out the eGo and use LR 2.0 mega cartomizers. I get the from Nhaler or Provape has them at 1.8ohms

Are those the Joye cartomizers? I like the 510 Joye cartos, won't have a chance to try the big eGo version until I get my eGo...

BTW there is a PCC for the Ego - this is a Chinese vendor but you can probably find it elsewhere.
Joye eGo PCC - Joye eGo spare parts Heaven Gifts

I don't have your problem. I have a cigarette size PV (manual M402 and plan to also get M401) and my PCC is the size and shape of a cigarette pack. So other than the blue light on my one black/gold battery, it looks pretty normal. On top of that, I'm allowed to vape in the warehouse or even at my desk - my boss smokes in the warehouse.

What I do worry about is not having a charged battery! The M4xx PCCs are a bit flakey with manual batteries. Sometimes I think I am charging and I'm not. And sometimes a partially drained battery doesn't seem to charge fully. I've been caught with no charged battery 3 times in 3 weeks (even though an M4xx battery lasts 3-4 hours the way I vape). In the beginning I carried a pack of smokes just in case (did that for a week) but now I carry a spare whole separate PCC and PV (a V4L shorty I bought out of curiosity) and I may just switch that to carrying a 3rd charged battery for my M4xx. Last week I bought doubles of 4-port 2amp max AC to USB adapter and PT, plus extra USB battery charging cables so I should be safe from ever having to smoke analogs while I wait for a battery to charge.

I haven't tried it yet, but this ZFM looks promising. No syringes, blue foam, straws etc, easy to refill and 30 drops should last a while. I'm going to try this as soon as I can get some XL carts. YouTube - ZFM Easy Zero Filler eGo Cone shape/Type A XL Cart Mod. Vape all of your E-Juice

At the moment I'm using C2 R4s (but only loaded with about 10 drops) and 510 atty and cartridge with straw mod (but also only loaded with about 10 drops). If I'm out and about for any length of time I need several. lol

I love going outside with my PINK eGo, especially at work! It makes people look and once in a while, the brave will actually ask questions. I've seen a couple of jaws drop when I start walking back inside, vaping all the way, then stick it in my pocket. It's like even though they see it's pink, they don't get that it isn't a cigarette and I don't have to snuff it out. It's almost comical. It definitely turns heads while I'm walking down the street!

No they are Boge and they will fit the eGo. They are a vertical element carto and IMO they deliver superb vapor and draw for the $$$$.

My personal fave... I suppose, OP, it depends on how "obvious" you want to be about vaping, balanced against performance. I started with a 510 & PCC setup. It worked fine in the beginning, once I got charging cables for the office, truck, etc., and a couple of passthroughs. For a 1.5 PAD smoker, the battery life of the 510 just didn't cut it.

I then stepped up to the ego, with one mega (900maH) battery & one ego passthrough. That was great for a while, but the ego still is a 3.2v unit, and I really wanted better performance. I've since moved up to mods. I've got a massive Indulgence that looks kind of intimidating (the phrase, "steampunk dildo" has been mentioned), and a homebuilt box mod that fits in my palm. Both use generic batteries I get online for cheap, and so I have lots of them... I can literally pick up a week and a half's worth of charged batteries in one hand, no problem. Both also run at 3.7 volts for a richer, warmer vape.

It's a kind of sliding-scale on the batteries; as output and lifespan improve, resemblance to a cigarette drops.

As far as the rig, the aforementioned carto with a drip-tip in place of the rubber stopper mouthpiece is all I've used for the last 6 weeks. It's almost as good as dripping, but you don't have to "top off" as often. No need to swap parts when I hop in the truck, gnome sane?

Good tips -- keep 'em coming.

I like the idea of a PCC. Unfortunately I bought a Magma PCC from Volcano thinking it would work with my 510 batteries, but alas it does not. I've been eyeing other 510 PCCs but haven't pulled the trigger on any of them just yet.

I like the cigar tube idea for the ego, will definitely have to try that once mine arrives.

Yeahhhhhhh - another Ohioan! Welcome!

I use the ego-cartomizers (which is like an all day vape machine) or the Joye 510 cartomizers. I use the Riva and don't find I need a pcc or pt. I use the 510 batteries when out and about with the regular joye 510 cartos to avoid the "look" and my Riva batts for any other time.

Cartomizers are the way to go when you are away from home. Dripping and filling carts are a lot of trouble. I personally use the Vapor 4 Life 2 piece KR808D-1 PCC with cartomizers. I carry the P/T to use in my car and then I carry the PCC with 2 batteries with me to use the rest of the time. I also like the EGO and the MEGA cartomizers for longevity but don't like the larger battery as far as appearance in public.

cartomizers really do help when on the go, or in a public place. Highly recommended when dripping is awkward.

I'm still trying to find cartomizers I like. Ive tried Boge 510's, E2 and E2 XLs, Joye 510's and now some Drip-o-misers from nhaler. So far the 510 drip-o-misers are my favorite, but for leaking issues in transit and on-the-go.

Got my eGo silver kit from Liberty Flights today - woohoo!
