i am finding it hard to find a good flavor on my set up i have done it before but once that coil burnt out i switched to a different one and it's just not the same.

i am using a evic vt 60w with a aspire triton tank. juices im using are 50/50 or 60/40, coil is 0.5ohm atm the other one i believe was 0.4ohms.

im just looking for like factors such as air flow, temp, etc and how they affect it if too high, too low, etc..

Generally a smaller chamber rda or RTA. No need to sub ohm to the extreme, around 1 ohm is fine on a dual coil. Restricted airflow, no need to create huge clouds. Temp will be varying your personal taste. Higher pg level liquids generally carry flavor better, again clouds are not the objective. And of course mouth to lung hits, your tastebuds reside in your mouth and the rest is perceived by your nose. Your lungs don't play a part in the flavor experience...

It varies. The amount of airflow. Less air more flavor. Higher PG ratio = more flavor.

The amount of cotton in the coil.

Getting great flavor has never really been a problem. it's what made vaping become popular in the first place.

Monster sized build decks & the like is what made getting good flavor more difficult. (that 'old stuff' only had an 8.5mm ID chamber) So we had to get a bit more creative with coils to compensate. It is, however, possible to get great flavor from most of the stuff on the market. Just need to use a little imagination sometimes to find it.

The most intense flavor atties that I have are old A7 Minis (also have an 8.5mm chamber), but the tiny build deck can be a PITA. They work best in the 1.8-2.2 ohm range.

Busardo felt the 1.8ohm coils with the airflow shut down gave really good flavor on the Triton. Maybe it shines more with the higher ohm coils than the subohm ones. You'll get less vapor, but for me its the flavor that matters.

Try using less airflow, and a narrow bore drip tip. Good drip tips are hard to find these days with most of them being huge, but I can show you some.

it really depends on the person flavor/temp/restrictiveness and many other factors are all subjective person to person it is more of a trial and error game to find what works for you not much someone else can do but suggest what they have found to be good but this method may be the exact opposite of what you yourself are looking for. i prefer mid to high (medium well if you will) temperature and flavor is a big factor. i tend to use .2-.5 builds in rda or a subohm arctic tank and thats what works for me but like i said this may be horrible for you depending on your preferences.

Finding flavors that you really love is a never ending quest , becoming very familiar with your e cig device and the toppers you use with it is crucial .

Only then will you be able to fine tune and get everything working just like you want it . I have been essentially using the same things i have always used because it works for me . I still prefer higher ohm vaping and i always vape at well below 20 watts , thats where i get the best flavor but thats me not you .

Find what you prefer and NEVER just go along with the crowd just because it's the popular thing , you are your own individual , do what you like and want to do.

Personal opinion alert! I've found that the best flavor, for me, is when I have the air at the drip tip restricted but the air at the coils is open. For example, the derringer I have is normally at 2 holes open for each side, covering the coils. I can use a narrow bore pipe drip tip and vape at 15 to 20 watts comfortably, where normally I'd use 40 to 60 with the wide bore drip tip. This will keep the coils from gunking up, and make the vapor warmer.

You are comparing two totally different coil heads, so it would make sense to me that you don't care for a stainless steel coil.

part of flavor is finding the right coil; if the 0.4 worked well, you maybe need to go in that direction.

Were talking in measurements of mm's adjusting airflow can make huge flavor.. Move the airflow a mm one way and there's hardly any flavor, move it another way off setting the coil and its huge..

How the flavor molecules and airflow coincide to produce flavor..

Turn the airflow hole in mm movement all around your coil and wick you'll find the sweet spot..
On bottom airflow you have to move the coil in or out, slightly angled up or down..

I went for some very short drip tips in one day f my fasttech purchases.

They are about 17 mm tall. Or rises above the tank 1/2 an inch. 12 mm.

I am still waiting for my GMini clone and Bell cap.

Today I got some Kayfun. Bell cap kits as soon as I get the Five pawns Kayfun bases I will give a Kayfun Nano away in the contest forum.

Still waiting for the Cloupor Mini Plus I son from ECF.

FANDANCY! Those look nice,i may have to have them lol but now i notice they are metal and im trying to get away from those,i dont like the way like feel if they touch my teeth. They really do look nice though!!

I use some about the size of those drip tips but annodized aluminum.

I like annodized aluminum. There is a chemical change when aluminum is annodized. If memory serves an electric current I'd used and the aluminum becomes hard as steel.
