how do you get stronger flavor?

I have juice that everyone says tastes amazing but I can't seem to get any real flavor out of it. I am running a evic 60w with a aspire triton tank with 0.4ohm coil on 18wats and I get very little to no flavor. I am using Gambit by five pawns 6mg nic. I've tried running other types of jucies as well and same results.

get the smell but very little and imo no flavor at all same set up. if I go for a higher wattage like 20wats I get a burning taste

Whats the pg/vg ratio? Higher pg will increase flavor and higher vg will increase clouds.

four the gambit it is a 50/50 other juices I have are 60/40 pg/vg but still little flavor

With a .40 coil you should be able to comfortably vape that at 30watts. What does the ohms say on your mod? whats your airflow set at. Remember that flavor is subjective but something does not sound right.

I had the same issue with some liquids,,my friends kept telling me its amazing flavor and i thought they were tolling me cause I've got literally no flavor out of it. Did your friends try the liquid from your set and told you its cool or from their own sets?
if it was from your set (tank&mod) so maybe and most likely its a Vaper's Tongue issue you have, try to google how to cure vaper's tongue.. It is a common problem makes you feel and taste no flavor.
Hope you will come back with a feedback to know if it was the vapers tongue thing ^^

Try adding or subtracting 1 wrap from your coil. Or using the next heavier or thinner wire on the next, one.

it says 0.40 ohms sometimes when i use certain juices it says 0.44 ohms only vaping it at a lower wattage because i don't like warm vapes i have the airflow set to the max except for the top half which also has an air flow i keep that one closed since I'm vaping at a low wattage. i also smoke as well about 1-2 cigs a day not sure if that is the issue but on some days i only vape and still little to no flavor

I don't know how your vaping at such low wattage. I have 2 of the Triton tanks .4 coil at 36 watts. I don't find the vape warm at all. Lower wattage does not work almost no vape when i try low wattage's. And I find that at lower wattage's there is also less flavor.

I think this is common. Was for me. I would hear everybody talk about how great and flavor full a juice was and it would be next to nothing for me. It did get better as time went on. Not sure if it was because my taste buds improved (once I put down the cigs for good) or if it was a change of equipment or even just a change of expectations? I never got much from any of the Five Pawns, besides the test results shown them to be toxic
Vape tongue is very real and can be managed by good oral hygiene, mine got more extreme than normal once I became a vapor (brush tongue, rinse mouth with mouthwash)
Buy from vendors known to have bolder flavors (the Plume Room)
Some will tell you that high wattage and max air flow always equal more flavor but not to all. Some (self included) get more flavor from lower wattage and less air flow (tootle puffers unite)
I am much more satisfied now than I was when I first started.
I use Taifuns, built anywhere from 1.2 to 1.5. Vape at 12-13 watts. Loads of flavor

Just read this--my sense of taste and smell did not return until I quit cigs for good. Maybe 2-3 months after I stopped smoking altogether

Yeah, it is going to take a few days, weeks or months to get your taste working correctly. Your doing everything I would advise. Except for the ohm rate and power you are vaping at. I'd cut the power in half and bump the ohms up by 2-3x. But thats me.

I was vaping it low because I am only about 4 weeks into vaping and at first I just had a sore throat everytime vaping over 18watts even on a .5 coil but I just bumped it up too 27wats I don't get that harsh throat hit anymore. I also was just doing long hits 7-9seconds long. might just be the cigs trying to quit but I keep getting free packs :/ ones you can't really buy in the US either. I am getting a little more flavor with a higher wattage but it is still lacking maybe it will come back once I quit for a while

I just checked my coils as i didn't expect a .4ohm coil to burn out so quickly but apparently it was bad lots of black gunk in the inside. no wonder i was tasting something burnt when at only 27wats but i can now taste my juice a LOT better. was running a .5 coil on my old tank it went great for 2 weeks not sure why this .4 coil got so burnt out fast maybe vaping too much lol.

Juice is now really sweet but i am also running a 2.0 coil as well would lower res coils = more flavor?

The more open the airflow the less the flavor. Think about it, more plain air= less flavored air. If you crank that .4ohm coil up to 50w you will need some extra airflow but at 18w I would close it down a bit

Black gunk isn't burnt out.... Its just dirty or burned wick.. Remove wick clean(dry burn) rewick and vape.

i am using those disposable coils not a rebuildable one not sure how i'd rewick those but i tossed it out i kept vaping it for a while when i got home got nothing but a burnt flavor so i assumed it was done. ahh i didn't know more air flow = less flavor i knew it provided cooler vapor will toy with that see how it goes. the flavor was really great when i switch the coil though now i see how people actually taste their juices

okay so i closed all the air flows and i was now wondering is it possible to vape with every air vent closed or is it even safe to do so? just tried it out since my tank has 2 air flow vents on big on at the top and one small on just below the drip tip. closed both completely flavor was insane but it was hard to simply inhale. i also find my drip tip heating up very quickly would that be an issue to the point more air flow is needed or is it okay to allow this to happen and simply just take breaks inbetween each hit

If you want the tip to be cooler you might have to reduce the heat. Less power, less ohm more air or more juice. Problem is that may negatively affect whatever vape goal you are after. Building an atty is about balancing ALL the factors involved to get the vape you are after. Shutting down the airflow might give more flavor, but it will also allow the coil to get hotter and hold more heat. So yes you might have to let the atty cool OR get a plastic drip tip that doesn't get as hot. You could also try a cooler coil or less power.

if you want more favor, you need more vapor... crack up the wattage... and... "steap the juice"... (put in warm water for a few hours)
buy it with "flavor shots" added...

if you still can't taste it... let me know... I will swap some bad mix combos I have for some of your "tasteless flavors"... lol

i can now taste the flavors simply had to close off the air flow for the most part and crank up the watts. thanks all really appreciate the help. just didn't want it to overheat and possibly explode or something
