How do you keep track as you explore flavors and devices?

As a newbie, I've ordered a number of e-liquid samplers to taste along with a variety of clearomizers, cartomizers, carto-tanks, etc. as I try to find favorites. I've placed different flavors in different delivery mechanisms, but now I'm finding that I'm losing track of which flavor is where. I suppose this will get better as I develop a palate. How do you keep track of it?

Did I just make it to complicated for my feeble memory? Should I just get an atomizer for tasting so that I can first identify preferred flavors and only then start experimenting with devices?

Just curious: do you typically have multiple delivery devices filled with different flavors so that they are ready to go when the mood strikes?

Painters tape. You can write on it and it peels of cleanly and easily.

Actually though number of juices I REALLY like is pretty limited. SO it really isn't too difficult to keep one device each full and just label it. I have a CE5 each for my menthol and strawberry. I have my Juicy Fruit in my new F17. I have my tank cracker Mt Dew in my protank (jury is still out on this one. It isn't bad but it is NOT Mt dew).

In the end that is how it breaks down. If it is a tank cracker it goes in my only glass device, my protank. Otherwise if I like it well enough I fill a clearo with it. Just got the Juicy fruit and the F17 yesterday so they sort of ended up together. :)

I know this is OT but If it's the Dew from HHV then we determined it tastes more like Sierra Mist or 7Up than Dew.. We weren't fans but found a friend who was and he's vaping the heck out of it LOL

It is a DIY using the Flavor Apprentice Mt Dew Flavor. A really SHARP bitey Sierra Mist crossed with a Squirt is probably a good description. I like both those drinks so it isn't horrible but I do have to do it in small doses.

when I used cartos and clearos way back when, the kid's colored little teenie rubber hair bands and a piece of paper to keep track of what color = what juice.

when I got really bored recently, I painted my clear T3s with nail polish to tell them apart. I have different colored Nanos for testing and keep track on paper.

painter's tape suggestion is a great one! peels right off without residue, and easy to write on w/ a Sharpie.

as far as keeping track of delivery methods and juices and PVs and learning experiences, I keep a blog. if it helps someone else, awesome!- but it's mostly for keeping track of everything.

I use Dawn's Mt. Dew from DIY Flavor Shack at 15-20%. spot on, and never had anything crack on me. was my ADV for about a year!
