How do you know when an atomizer has gone bad?

Yeah, they are the least predictable of all the components for sure :( I have heard of folks not doing any sort of maintenance to theirs and having them last 4-6 months, and others who have them last only a day or two.

I'm about 2.5 weeks in, rotating two different atomizers, still doing just as good as on day one. Back-ups are nice and cozy in their little box waiting for their day (hopefully later than sooner) :)

lol!! that figures! When mine quits I will go throw it on the concrete haha

They can go slowly or just quit on you all at once.

I had one that was slowing down and I accidently dropped it on the concrete parking lot. I thought it was probably toast, but I actually worked better afterward - still using it as a matter of fact, and that was about a week ago.

I have had a couple of attys that just quit. i thought they were dead so I used a manual battery and tweezers. Hold down the battery button while you tweak the atty with the tweezers until you here the sizzle sound. that means it's working. sometimes it's a twist other times just pushing the atty to one side or the other. This may work for you or it may not. either way the atty was toast before you messed with it. One last thing, I only use a VX2 so it's the only atty I've tried this on. Can't vouch for how well it may work on others

But I had 3 attys go dead all within 2 days of each other and hubs and I have been sharing 1 ecig for 2 weeks, waiting till we could order more. Every couple of day I would whip those old ones out praying they were alive again, with no luck.........until today!! 2 out of 3 came back!! So hold on to your old ones and check them out now and then!
Gah, Im in such a good mood today!
