I was stress-vaping today and was blowing through e-juice like nobody's business. After a while i found i just couldnt taste it anymore. My tastebuds were so acclimated to that flavor that it just disappeared. Needless to say, this upset me.

I grabbed a glass of milk to drink.

BOOM! Flavor was totally back! In fact, it tasted better than it ever had before. Experimenting, i tried having a sip of milk after every few pulls. It was amazing! Most flavorful vaping session i've had for a long time!

My question is, do you have any secret techniques you use to get great flavor when vaping? Let everyone else know!

the same thing happens to me. After chain vaping i stop tasting my liquid.
when this happens i try to drink something with flavor (lemonade, coke, juice, etc), and i pop a diferent flavor tank on my eGo-C.
I usually alternate between USAMix and Desert Ship. And I even do a little capuccino flavor to switch flavors even more.

I keep 3-4 different flavors with me at a given time. This means that I can swap out flavors if I start to lose the taste of one, which tends to wake up the taste buds again. I also tend to have something to drink on hand.

If you find that you just can't wake up the taste buds with a drink or with swapping flavors, try brushing your teeth. Alternately, put about a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar into a good-sized glass of water (I usually use a 12-ounce or larger glass) and drink that. Both the minty-freshness of brushing your teeth and the sour acidity of vinegar tend to liven up your taste buds again. Sometimes, you just need to cut the flavor-coating on your tongue with something else to make the flavor wake up once more. :)

I vape Ecopure for a while when a juice gets tasteless. I smoked for 45 years before I finally quit a little over 2 months ago, so my taste buds were really fried. For the first month or so every juice I tried (even clove and cinnamon) tasted pretty much like corn oil after the first few vapes. Thankfully my taste buds are starting to recover but they still go walkabout fairly frequently. Brushing my teeth, drinking various fluids, etc. has never helped much but I've found that vaping about a ml of Ecopure seems to give them enough of a rest so that I can taste other juices again. Ecopure is a bit pricey, though, so I'm thinking of trying just straight VG.
