I had a idea of making a 50ML batch of my PG/VG mix, and spacing it out into some of my 5mg bottles.
Then putting a Equal %age of flavoring in each (Lets say 20%)

Then lets say I want to try combo A + B.

10 Drops A, 10 Drops B, mix with toothpick, vape.

B too weak. + 5 Drop B, vape again. Perfect?

Final recipe 1 part A, 1.5 parts B

In a flavor thats 20% flavor that would mean 8% a, 12%B should give the flavor you desire. Ya?

Creating new things is what drives me :)

Seems like an awful lot of little bottles and trouble but that is just my own opinion. I do like to do things pretty simple. It is very easy make unflavored nic juice and just use drops of flavorings. I always start out even less than what is recommended and build my way up my own preference. I like experimenting also. Have you looked into adding flavored Vodka's to your recipes? I also make my menthol with 50/50 Everclear and menthol crystals and just add a drop to my atomizer. Or making your own flavorings like with real vanilla beans in pg or PGA? Coffee and tea extractions? Hey I'm just trying to give you some suggestions to keep you happy since that is what drives you. There are so many great ideas from reading about diy.

If that method is easiest for you though, that is what you should do. The main thing is just to have fun and enjoy mixing. Good luck.

I wrote a blog on how you hone in on the right amount and adjust your mix. It's based on an ry4 recipe but the principle works for all mixes. It's very similure to what your doing. Have a read.

I've also wrote a blog on how to adjust a base. If your base is not correct before adding flavor then your really wasting time because if your base is too harsh or peppery then the final mix will not be as good as it can be

I got nuttin Rat2 and Danny haven't said already, just remember that some flavas take awhile to develop, adding until it tastes right at the jump will probably not be right after a little time. Some are good to go with no aging, some take weeks, you have to experiment with your flavors, and read what a lot of great people have already logged about specific manu. and flavors for steep/aging times. Save you a lot on wasted flavor. Good luck, and have a blast.
