This is what I have graduated to for the time being. My husband made it for me.

Just found my next wood working project I'm starting tomorrow.
I have a tacklebox that goes under my bed, and some sort of four drawer (plastic) organizer that sits on my desk, and a "purse" (originally intended as a small tool bag, but I call it my purse) that I take when I leave the house. The purse usually sits in the car while I'm doing whatever I'm doing, and has extra atomizers, juice, batteries, etc. If I lose my PV while I'm at the bar, I just have to go back out to the car.
Even with all of those, I have a couple of cardboard boxes with misc stuff.

I'm a noob, too. I keep it all in a biscuit tin. I like to have a clearo full of every flavour, and I keep them in ziplock bags with the bottle of juice. I mean to label the bags to make it easier to see what's in the bottles.

I've already got one of those for my tools. I want one of the nice wooden ones for my gear....lol
I'd forgotten about them until I saw the pics here. I was looking at them a few months ago and thought what a shame it was I had nothing to use it for....lol

I have a cigar box with a foam insert in it, and cutouts in the foam for each of my things! My mancave mod that is.

Have to learn some woodworking, I guess. I am still on the look out for a perfect solution. In the meantime, it's cardboard and plastic boxes.
All my daily vape gear is in a plastic organizer I got from wal-mart for under $5. It has about 15 compartments.....and more than enough space.
As for the bigger stuff (like multi-meter) and old juice bottles, etc - I have a specific glass table I keep it all on downstairs.
I have one of those nice wooden cabinets, except I didn't get mine from Harbor Freight. I've been keeping my meteorites in it. But, when I accumulate enough vaping gear, I may buy another cabinet.
