I like to wash my new boston rounds before I decant my nic base into them, no telling what's i there from the factory.

But because of the narrow mouth, I wash them by merely violently shaking them with with lightly soapy hot water inside the bottle and then rinse them really well with hot, hot water.

But it would be nice to actually be able to scrub them on the inside.

How to you all clean yours?

I just use hot water. I figure the nic will kill just about anything. ;)

I've been doing it that way for years. So far, I haven't gotten sick or anything (now WATCH...:lol: ).

    I'll blame you. ;)

I run some hot water in the kitchen sink, put the bottles in with some dish soap, shake them around to make sure they fill with soap and water, and let them sit for a while before rinsing thoroughly.

When I refill used bottles I just run them under hot water in the sink and twist up a paper towel to get most of the water residue out. Then, I let them sit to finish drying. The last step is probably moot.

Well I decided to go ahead and just wash my last batch of new bostons like I normally do. Didn't want to wait to get a brush in the mail and wanted to decant my latest nic purchase ASAP.

BTW: I'm not worried about harmful bacteria, just worried about contaminants causing my nic to not preserve well for my long term stash. But I've resigned to the fact that someday I will lose my nic stash, it's inevitable. The goal is to work toward 3mg to 0mg over the next few years.

Fact is, there are minerals in the water anyhow so you can never really clean the bottle out 100% when using tap water.

I feel like vape takes up too much of my life anymore. Gotta stop worrying about the future so much.

Thanks for the replies. Maybe this thread will help others.

I wonder if nic rebottlers clean their bottles as well as we do?
Hot water rinse is what I did.
Using 7 year old nic now. Looks and tastes the same as it did when I bottled it.
I expect my stash to outlive me.
Thinking of increasing my nic, so I can make use of most of it...

Wash like normal dishes, get the dishwater in side and shake, pour out, rinse with very hot water.
My cold water side is filtered, so 2 quick rinses with the filtered water and on the rack they go, upside down to drain out. The caps also get the full treatment.
does take longer to dry naturally, but heh..

I don't know, what have you become? Tell me. I'm all ears.

Why? Because you said so?
    Of course not.
What is the topic of this thread... "washing of bottles"?
    Really?
What the hell? I only asked "bored?" because I had time to read that damn OP. Got a little boredom myself.. Fine.
    But "Boston shoulders"? Really? [emoji1]
    Damn. Honestly... damn. [emoji4]

.. screw it.. you were among the most bored of us gearheads and made a thread and I called you out on it. We're both losers.

I'm such a newbie,i read Boston Rounds in the title and i had no idea what those were.
At first glance i thought they were some type of specialized home made high end munition only made in Boston.
Asked myself why we talking about munitions in a vaping website?:lol:

Then i googled it and now i finally now what Boston Rounds are,my bad...carry on.

Wash, rinse, dry and use. I freakin’ win! Bye.

    but wait...

If really paranoid (as someone here appears to be) rinse under my 0.3 micron water filtration system.

Thinking most of you are major rookies in comparison.

Or bored, gonna go with bored.

Do we need a thread on how to shower or washing the car?

Make it all rocket science cause well, I guess it is.
