I recently bought some max VG juice which I haven't received yet, but I have an aspire nautilus mini which I believe you can use like a drip tip? I'm just wondering if the max VG will be too thick for the bottom coil and if so how do I use this as a drip tip? Do I keep a coil in here and the tank filled with liquid and then also pull off the tip and drip juice in at the top? Not really sure how this works or if this even works with this tank. Never ever have tried to drip juice before. Thanks for any help!

Drip tip is another word for the mouthpiece.
Dripping is another method of vaping, it requires a dripping atomizer either rba or a disposable 510 drip atty.

The nautilus in stock form is not a drip atty.
If the high VG liquid is to thick to wick properly in the nautilus it can be thinned with distilled water.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh I see! I guess the name for the mouth piece made me assume it was for dripping, whoops! Well thinning it a little with distiller water may work then if the juice is too thick. Thanks for the replies, glad I didn't assume and just start pouring liquid down the hatch. Lol

I believe, Clo, that you are confused about terminology and how things work.

A "drip tip" is just another name for the mouth piece of any juice delivery attachment. They are generally exchangeable from one attachment to another. They keep hot juice splattering onto your lips and come in different shapes & materials for your comfort.

The Aspire Nautilus is a clearomizer tank. You can not "drip" e-liquid into this type of tank, like you can with a 510 drip atomizer or rebuildable drip atomizer. You fill the Nautilus by turning it upside down and removing the base unit. With the other two, you drop a few drops of e-liquid directly on either the coil (510 drip atomizer) or the wick (rebuildable drip atomizer) through its top.

A bridge less 510 drip atty will give excellent results without having to rebuild anything if you want to try dripping.

I may try something like this. Any suggestions for what to choose if I do? I'm not interested in rebuilding, at least not yet...lol. I am still in the simple and easy phase of vaping. But I may also try adding a little distiller water to the juice if it's too thick. I do love my nautilus mini :)

Any 510 drip atomizer can be purchased for between $6 -$20 dollars. They are available as either "bridged" or "bridgeless". Which one to choose? I've only used bridgeless as that is what others had suggested for me. You can only place a few drops of e-juice on the coil at a time. You may need to purchase a drip tip if the atomizer you choose doesn't come with one. These should last 2 - 3 months of use; dry burn them to clear the coil of gunk.

You can also use a Nano clearomizer if you are only interested in sampling flavors prior to commiting them to a tank. They hold 1 ml of juice, and can be easily filled/emptied by removing the "drip tip" mouthpiece. These are considered to be eventually "disposable", lasting about 3 - 4 weeks of steady use.

A nice dripper is fun, but you can't just fill it and go. For me, it's a sit at home thing. You've heard some good advice, but one thing you might think about is buying a dripper and having your local B&M put coils in it for you. The coils last longer than wicks, and wicking a dripper isn't hard or expensive..,

This suprtrkr is great advice for Clo.
If she heeds your advice, she will get on with the learning curve of vaping and her local vape shop can help her.

I do actually drip through my drip tips, but they are a wider bore and I am dripping through the opening onto my RDA wicks.
This is how they originally got their name as "drip tips".

Back in the day, we didn't have clearomizers or cartomizers or RBA's. We only had "drip atomizers". Hot juice could splatter up and burn our lips, and the atomizer itself could get pretty hot. So mouthpieces were designed to prevent this. They also allowed dripping the e-liquid directly onto the coil.

The term drip tips continued to be used for cartomizers and clearomizers when they were developed.

Baditude, you have been doing this a long time! When exactly was the era before cartomizers? And the drip atomizers were not rebuildable?
