Since I started with Vapor4Life, I quit smoking, a nasty habit that was costing me a ton of money, not to mention my health.

Then, I learned about the potential FDA deeming regulations that put vaping at risk. :-x

And THEN, I learned about the documentary film, A Billion Lives, which exposes how big tobacco and government are twisting the truth about vaping.

SO, I thought, why don't I help tell the truth.:thumbs:

I know many of you switched from smoking to vaping, and I want to hear from you!

How long have you been off analog cigs?

What does vaping mean to you?

With your explicit permission, I'll compile the stories into an article about how vaping can be a smart alternative to smoking.

The change starts with us! Please share your story below!

Vaping is saving me almost $250 a month. If I end up living longer I'm going to need the money.
Haha! I like the way you think! How long have you been vaping? You seem like a serious vaper! I'm currently vaping vanilla mocha frappe, which saves me money on cigs AND starbucks ;)

I have been not smoking for 4 weeks tomorrow.
I KNOW that I was able to give up cigarettes BECAUSE I was able to find vaping.
I have been able to get my husband almost completely off of a 2-2/12 P.A.D. habit.
I have been able to get my youngest daughter almost off of smoking and into vaping.
This is the easiest quit I have ever attempted, and you can bet that having smoked for 30 yrs. I have tried to quit more than a couple of time.
I am already able to be more physically active without losing my breath.
I don't stink.
I am happy and my self esteem is higher than it was before.
I have met some great people on ECF and am feeling part of a community of like minded people who are more than willing to help me help myself.

Just a few changes in my life since I started vaping.

You have my explicit permission to use what I have to say in any way that will help others to understand how helpful and important vaping has been to my quitting smoking.

Thank you so, so much for sharing, teemae! Reading this really touched my heart and got me a little teary-eyed, but don't tell anyone that Lady Vapentine cries (even in the Hallmark store).

I remember how I used to pick up cigarette butts off the sidewalk when I lived in Chicago, where packs cost $13. I smoked on and off for 16 years! I hadn't actually calculated, or said that number out loud until I interviewed at Vapor4Life and then it hit me like a ton of bricks. That's nearly half my life. I, too, have noticed that I have so much more energy. I don't get winded when I chase my dog. I can taste food. I can vape inside my friends houses! It's really a miracle.

My boyfriend smoked nearly four packs a day, and he's wayyyy down from that. So, kudos to your husband and your child too.

I've heard so many people say that they wished vaping had been around decades ago and it's so true. It's chilling to think of all the people that could have been spared.

I'm happy to be part of a community with people like you, who are warm-hearted, enthusiastic, and friendly.

Vape on!

Changed my life?

No longer wake up hacking a lung.
No longer have that morning #2.
All ailments I had/have is now blamed by others on my vaping.
More money in my pocket.
I can smell again.
No longer burning objects from half put-out cigs I thought were completely out.
No smelly clothes/fingers.
No more burning my nose hairs.
Ect.

I tried every thing and I mean every thing and nothing worked for me .
Started out with 32mg juice now down to 1mg lol some are 0 lol
It's good not smoking wish I never had started but I did and loved it lol.
Have a great day
H
Man, I tried everything too. I was rolling my own cigarettes: Bugler, Drum, Bali Shag. All that mess. The day I tried my first 18 mg, I didn't smoke a cigarette the whole ride home, and I knew it was finally what I had been looking for. I really hope all the anti-vaping lobbyists don't succeed in taking it away. These are the stories that speak for the truth! Thanks so much for sharing. Also, my clothes smell better!

Your post really struck a chord with me. Thanks for sharing.

Let's talk about that morning #2. I couldn't have a cup of coffee and light a cigarette without having to rush to the powder room!

And setting things on fire! I have burn marks on my leg from falling asleep with cigs. My boyfriend actually set our couch on fire once.
It's funny because I sometimes worry that my vape is going to burn something and then I have to remind myself that it won't.
Nice to meet you! Cheers and happy vaping!

Started vaping in 2009, have not looked back since. This is a healthier alternative to cigarettes (we all know that), not very interested in saving, although it is a plus, more interested in stopping cigarettes.
I smoked cigarettes for over 30 years, after the first vape, I stopped and have not had one since.
Vape Pros
I can smell
It is a healthier alternative
My lungs are clear and my heath is great
I can breath
My clothes, vehicle, home, etc no longer smell
I save money
I can stay in the good hotel rooms
No more outside in the cold and rain puffing away on a cigarette
I can avoid "smoking areas" because now I cannot stand the smell of a cigarette.

Regarding the FDA, there are always ways, maybe vaping will never go main stream, but for committed vapers, we will continue. Keep in mind there are other forms of Nicotine besides that which comes from tobacco. No one can ban wicking materials, wire will always be around, stainless metal parts will always be available, Batteries cannot be banned, electrical parts will still be there.
Vaping hardware and liquid is so generic, good luck making them go away.

Damn right, makdevo. Congratulations on 6 YEARS FREE OF THE EVIL ANALOGS!

I like your point about the good hotel rooms. That's a big plus!

Vaping is such a crucial thing. It can save so many lives, and that--in itself--is priceless.
