About bloody time an' all! How long ago did we discuss the Fogstar wraps? LolWhat did you use to write on these? I tried a sharpie once and discovered it would wipe off far too easily - and I thought the dang things were permanent markers...While I’m waiting for my party invite I got bored so I did every one. Including the ones that were fresh and new
I don’t like the high contrast of green and black.

Same troubles over here.
I use this now
It’s a garden permanent marker so it protects from the rain.
It doesn’t protect against warm, grubby mits though...
I try my best to not touch it. If you put pressure it will smudge. Better than the sharpie though.
Nothing seems to be permanent anymore.
Aside from the way I scratch things. That seems to be permanent.
I can’t seem to rub those scratches off!

Plz help me out here...i can't get my brain wrapped around why you are rewrapping your batteries...? 
Sometimes liquid will get under the wrap or they get torn by removing them from chargers and out of certain devices.

+, my last skins were from ft and rather thick so the battery was a little snug in some of my mechs.
What did you use to write on these? I tried a sharpie once and discovered it would wipe off far too easily - and I thought the dang things were permanent markers...
That's annoying. But I saw a suggestion here to put Scotch tape over the writing. That works for me. But cut the tape with scissors so you get a straight end. If you use the serrated end the tape holder leaves it tends to come unstuck.

I used to put a little sellotape (same thing), even though it’s thin I like as much room in tubular mods as possible.
Some of them are fine but some fit a little too well for excessive baggage

Last Friday night I had to tweak a coil to use my Provari. When the power went out in a storm I realized that i hadn't charged my last round of batteries. But the Provari has been out of rotation and there were two fully charged button tops. Good device to have during a snowpocalypse except that the tank keeps coming off.
My friend took me to a new club a few weeks ago. Turns out it was a fetish club, a Climacophilia club. I wouldn't have gone period, let alone if I knew I was the one getting pushed down the stairs. Those people are no help what so ever when you hit the bottom landing no matter how much you are screaming. I'm no longer friends with him.
I find that if I write directly on the wrap with a marker it smudges or wears off over time. I make a 5 mm x 20 mm white paper label then cover it with a little scotch tape. I use a specific color wrap for a given model, and put the battery's birthday on the the label.
I played around with transparent wraps briefly before realizing what a terrible idea they are in terms of spotting damage to the wrap.

I've been using clear packing tape, but I recently got some clear wraps. I agree that a clear wrap on a bare cell is probably not a good idea, but as a second layer over the original wrap (assuming your mods have room) they rock.
