It took me about 8 months...sort of (there was a 5 month relapse in there).
Started with a mall ecig, quickly went to a Yeti (also looked like a cigarette), then onto a Riva 510, a Tornado. Then I relapsed because I just couldn't keep up with charging batteries all the time.
When I came back to it I bought a Roughstack with an 18650, and an Epower. The Roughstack had an early version of a tank on it, and also tried every clearo under the sun.
I got fed up with all of that and bought a REO in May 2011. That worked for me, and I've been happy with REO's ever since.
I hope you find your sweet spot. It's expensive, but just amazing when you find a device that you love.

I got lucky and hit on my all day vape pretty much right away, Halo's Tiki Juice, bought it along with my ego-t kit from the local vape shop and a few other flavors that sounded good to me. From the ego-t I upgraded to an ego-c a few weeks later, then the ego twist. Tried cartos and clearo's and the standard set up of the t and the c and settled in on the standard ego-c set up for a few months, then I tried dripping and that was that. Found the Reo Grand so I could have the dripping experience without the hassel and haven't looked back. I love the HH.357 atty 1.5 ohm atty, I have the short barrel atties, and they are perfect for me though I do want to try the long barrel too LOL. So it was 3 months before I settled on my perfect setup, atleast until I can afford a VVReo or a Provari!

I've been happy with pretty much everything I've tried since I started vaping. Curiousity was the reason I continued to try different things, certainly not need. ;) But that curiousity did lead me to things I preferred better then some of the stuff that I was using. Now that I've been vaping for two years I've lost my desire to continue to try new stuffs. I am completely happy and satisfied with everything I have right now in APV's, juice delivery systems and juice. I think I could stay happy forever with what I have without ever trying anything else new. BUT of coarse at some point I know that curiousity will surface again and I'll just have to try something new that I've not yet tried
