How long can you use your battery?

I have heard batteries can be recharged somewhere between 500 and 1000 times. Although performance and lifespan will drop off before you reach the max recharge times. So I would say use the batteries until performance starts to drop off.

There's a chance I'm missing the meaning of your question.

I assume you're talking about 18350 through 21700 size cells?
From the low voltage cut off of most regulated power devices (2.8v - 3.3ish v) to fully charged (4.2v) somewhere around 1 - 4 hours depending on charge rate & depth of discharge.
You should be using a decent charger that stops charging and gives you an indication when the cell(s) are fully charged.

Above also assumes you are using quality name brand cells with a sufficient CDR for your application bought from a reputable vendor/dealer.
