My husband quit smoking in November last year, and I quit with him for 30 days but went bonkers and smoked some for a few weeks after that until I found this forum and got my Joye 510 just over a month ago.
We used to smoke in the garage or on the porch, as our house and cars have always been non-smoking. Since we live in high-desert Oregon, we smoked pretty much full-time in the garage except for a few months of the year because it's so cold at night here, even in the summers.
Anyhoot, our smoking area in the garage still exists with our smoking chairs, our ashtrays and etc. I just can't bring myself, and neither can my husband, to go out there and clean the danged stuff up!! I hate looking at it but somehow cleaning it up means it's really over???
Every time I go out there to get in my car I tell myself I'm going to donate the chairs, the ashtrays, all the magazines I used to read there, the candles and candle holders and all the other myriad stuff that ended up on the smoking table, but it just doesn't seem to be happening. Anyone else have trouble "letting go?"
