How long did you watch ECF before you sign up?

Lurked for about a year before I signed up. I finally had a question that I couldn't find the answer to.
I was being robbed blind by a local store buying juice and wicks for a t2. Goggled looking for ways to buy online and found the forum. Signed up right away because I had so many questions and then proceeded to annoy some folks because I did not understand the concept of a forum. I asked the same question in many places many times until someone set me straight. I cannot imagine navigating through this world (the vaping world) without it
Thank you both. He had a short life but helped many in our community. Things happen but I learned so much from him. I built my first atty, something that was unheard of from a female here years ago, all under his supervision. I remember the day like yesterday whenever I asked to watch. He looked at me and told me to sit down while he watched me build. Each step through the process he guided me. Unfortunately, we lost him to an aneurysm. Something that his mom succumbed to a few years later as well. I'm sure he's puffing some huge clouds for us. ...
Maybe ten seconds. Long enough to determine it was innocuous. The places I worry about signing up on are the ones that demand specific personal data or the account of one of the abusive data mining social media groups like facebook.
My brother discovered ECF, joined, learned, and bought his gear. I just copied whatever he did, based on what he had learned. After a few weeks of vaping, I asked him where he was learning all this stuff. Then I joined.
However, I'm not very social. So, the only time I had an urge to post was when I wanted to answer a question. But, without those first 5 posts, I couldn't answer questions in the forums I found them in. I didn't know that much anyway. But, I did know where to get a 306 atty!
Then, 9 months later, I was finally desperate enough to get some answers. That's when I finally made my first post.

2013, the Chop-chop (tobacco) - Wikipedia supply dried up. So I googled a fair while
started vaping 20/11/2013, joined an aussie forum 21/11/2013 when my evod charger wouldn't work
on that forum, kept seeing REOs
so, i ordered one. And I think after my intro thread, first posts were in reoville to consult the experts. (In march 2014)
i got a badge, and a fat lady singing

10 years, but only joined an hour ago. Just kidding. Not really sure, as it seems such a long time ago, but I'm thinking a few months
Signed up when I found ECF in late January 2019, but didn't make my first posts until a couple days ago. Quit smoking almost 5 months ago, and now I have shinyitis.
Within a month of starting vaping - my original attie with the long trailing wicks started to taste off and I didn't know what to do with it nor what I could replace it with. I googled vaping, ECF came up and I joined.
Recon'd and gathered the proverbial ....-Loads of highly valuable Intel for a tad over 2 yrs before going Legit in '15

I joined as soon as I had checked things out enough to feel comfortable giving my name. I usually avoid social media and things like that, but I had a very practical reason for signing up here - I needed inside information! Six years ago, vaping nicotine was in a sort of legal grey area in Canada. Stores that got too loud or open about what they were selling got shut down by Health Canada, but they didn't really put a lot of effort into finding them. The net result was that I couldn't find anywhere to get ejuice with nicotine because the shops couldn't advertise openly. Fortunately, there was an invaluable little stickied thread on the Canada forum offering a list of online shops by PM. So I became a member. Shortly thereafter, I became a vaper. ECF to the rescue!
