I am expecting my second whole order since I started vaping, and now it might be all over for me before I get used to it. Does anyone know how long we all have to wait before this FDA thing sorts itself out?

I have ordered some replacement parts, more e-liquid, and more PVs....should I just hold on using these until we see what happens, or try to get as much as we can as fast as we can (hoarding)?

FDA Bans & Customs Seizures are all Rumors. No one is having trouble getting parts, and supplies as of yet. If you wait untill things get "sorted out" you'll be old & grey. (like me)

Knowing our govt., I feel e-cigs & supplies will be harder to get, or will become very expensive in the future.

You'll have to make the call for your self. Personally, I'm putting a personal, mass stockpiling program in effect. I love my e-cig, and I have a credit card. If the hammer ever comes down, I want to be able to dodge it.

Wow! You guys are scaring me. I'm still waiting for my ecig to arrive and have purchased a few extras, liquids, carts etc. Please keep us posted so we newbies now when to panic

If or when the day ever comes that e-cig will be banned, or seized, the news will be all over this forum like the plague. Don't worry, you'll know if it happens.

Until then? You'll have to make the call to stock or not to stock.

I am stocking up on atomizers. I have 40 in 3 different styles. You will always be able to buy a battery and a box at Radio shack and make your own PV (or have someone more technological do it for you) or buy one from someone who makes them in the US (modders and puresmoker.com) ... but the atomizers we don't make in the USA (YET!!!... get a move on PureSmoker.com!). So.. as long as we have atomizers.. we should be okay.

I am in the same boat, deeanne...expecting my 2nd order today, and I haven't a clue of what's next.

Even if everyone went into full panic mode (maybe we could call it a level 7 pandemic lol) how much do you have to have on hand to be considered 'stocked up'? Those of us who are brand new don't even know what that means. 10 atomizers, 20, 50? Gallons of juice?

And - the big question that no one knows - for how long?

So many questions, so little time. ugh

maybe its just me being optimistic, but I think even if they banned them we could still get them from china, as long as they weren't labeled ecigs. There not the only things coming from china and they can't stop every shipment coming in

If they target the Chinese PV suppliers like EastMall, Ruyan Direct, Janty, etc and stop every package coming from that company regardless of what the label says, then they can make it much more difficult and costly to get supplies.

I have no desire to fan the flames because the truth is we simply do not know what the future holds. It seems clear to me that SOMETHING is going to happen, but what it is and when it will occur, well, your guess is as good as mine.

For me personally, I've made the choice to stock up on atomizers and juices. I never, ever want to be in a situation where I have an excuse to go back to analogs. I feel quite certain that if I do not have a functional vaping device, I'll be right back where I was . . . smoking the cancer sticks.

My finances are such that it's not a terrible burden to stockpile atomizers and juices. If it were, I have a feeling I'd still be doing it, but the decision wouldn't be quite as much of a no-brainer.

If I were new to vaping and hadn't really settled into a model that I really loved, then I probably wouldn't be stockpiling parts yet. If money were really tight, then I wouldn't be putting big charges on my credit card or paying my bills late in order to stock up on parts.

If I had been vaping long enough that I felt this was truly something I wanted to continue doing, then I'd probably be looking at a mod as my next e-cig to avoid battery issues. (As Spikey noted, mods use non-proprietary batteries that you'll be able to get even if e-cig parts become unavailable.)

But, yeah, if you have a device you love and money isn't so tight that you're going to be getting behind on your bills, I'd be stocking up. I'm in it for the long haul--I have about 50 DSE901 atomizers, 25 penstyles, and maybe 6 of the 510 atomizers. As for liquid, I've stockpiled enough to last me about 1 1/2 to 2 years, about the shelf-life of liquid. I'm experimenting a bit with different no nicotine solutions to see if I can find one that is satisfying enough that I can eliminate my nicotine habit just in case liquids become difficult to find.

But note that I didn't stock up overnight . . . I've been vaping for almost 5 months, and I started building up my supplies shortly after I began vaping.

I think that they are less likely to look at personal shipments - and more likely to stop anything with commercial quantities. That said, I also think that liquid will be tougher to get a hold of than PV's.

Regardless, I don't think any potential ban will last forever. PV's are in Americas public eye and we hate to give up our techie toys. BT will bring out their own version soon enough while they line the pockets of politicians and the FDA.

Hey maybe we should make a list for them and post it here so they know which suppliers are Chinese and they can stop the shipments easier? Oh.. nevermind u already did that! LOL! (Maybe you should edit that post????)

just hope it's not a pharmacy controlled dose with prescription required.
