I'm getting up to 5 days.....the trick is keeping it wet. vape some, fill with 5 or 6 drops to top off.

Cool, Thankys Gristle, I'll give it a try.. I am now just wondering if I should just stick to attys mainly and get the CE-2's on occassion since the attys last months... I know the flavor is better with CE-2's, but you and others are saying that they don't last that long... I swear I'm the last to try them out and don't want to get into something I'll regret..

It's not that they don't last very long, its that they don't work, at least that's my experience. Out of 15 that I've tried, only 2 or 3 actually performed well, and even then you still had to do the tip thing to keep the coil wet.

So it's the charging thingy that dies?? OOohhhh.... gads!! I don't know what do do now...

I can get at least 6 months on an atty with all my e-ciggies and mods.. One atty on my 401 lasted 16 months... And I'm a heavy vaporor.. But I'm tired of all the dripping on my 5 volt, and the regular 510 and 401, and with my Janty Stick if I'm not dripping I'm using a cart and all that filling drives me insane

I love cartomzers but I'd like to be able to get more than two days of use out of one before I have to toss it out. I'm a heavy vaper and I top mine off whenever the flavor starts to diminish, which is numerous times per day. After about a day, no matter which liquid I vape from which company, the cartomzers starts to clog in the center hole. I started using a guitar string per suggestion on this forum to clear the center hole, but sometimes during the end of the second day, the cart clogs frequently and I end up killing the cart somehow trying to unclog it with the guitar string.

I don't see how some people say they've used one cart for a week or even a month. Even if a cart lasts me three days, the filler starts looking black and filthy. If I were even able to get three solid days from a cart, I'd be happy..

So... I really am looking for honest answers here. How long does one cart last you? And if it lasts you a long time, are you a heavy vaper? Finally, do you have any tips to increase the longevity of the cart? I'm vaping with Boge standard resistance carts.

Thanks. Any feedback would be appreciated...

Two days is good for a 510 carto. Acceptable performance from a carto is definitely subjective. When someone says there carto lasts for months, don't take this seriouslly. My experience is that atomizer performance begins to deteriorate immediately and very rapidly. Especially when an atty gets very hot like most of us like it to do. To me a brand new attie every couple of days is the way to go.

Not real sure I know what you are talking about. The CE2 style cartomizers don't have any fill batting. The coil sits in the cartomizer body on a hollow stem near the mouth piece end. The coil has a wick that goes through it, and hangs down into the space below the coil. This space is then sealed with a rubber "washer" or cap. The e-liquid is them injected into this reservoir using a syringe.

The problem I've had with the CE2's is that they just don't wick the e-liquid fast enough for my vape style. I've only had 2 or 3 that worked very well, and these still had to be tipped to keep the wick wet. What I mean by "tipped" is holding the cartomzer/pv so that the mouth piece is pointing down. This causes the liquid in the reservoir to run toward the coil and wet it.

When they work correctly, the CE2's are very good, but they hardly ever work correctly for me.

Hi Gristle,

When I mentioned cart I am refering to cartridge, not cartomizers... Well I'm going to buy some and take it from there.. I knew about the tipping of them, which makes a lot of sense.. Just tired of the dripping and filling...

I truly resent your statement! I have several eMDCCs that I've vaped for two months. Granted, they are now at the end of enjoyable. But six weeks is a given for the ones that are still in use. I easily get a month thus far, seriously...

To me a brand new attie every couple of days is the way to go.

For those vapers whose carts last for two weeks or more, what liquids are you vaping?

Most are 70/30. In order of longevity:

Strawberry - Prime Vaping
Hawaiian Pineapple -Vermillion River
Peach Cobbler - Gourmet Vapor
Vanilla Bourbon 2x - FSUSA

The VB from FSUSA is the first one to prompt a carto change.

yah, I guess its a trade-off! I fel fortunate that I dont like thick and sweet!
Just curious, have you tried anything from Backwoods brew?

No I haven't but I'm not into tobacco flavors at all, been vaping for almost two years so I'm over the tobacco, and most of BWB that I've seen are tobacco type flavors
