Seems to me we haven't been discussing the amount of nicotine anyone uses, but rather the amount of juice.
Wee-eel, it'll be 3 years this month I've been making my own 14mg juice. As of yet, I haven't cracked into my second 500ml of 100mg nic.

A small number multiplied by a big number is a big number. If I scrape some butter onto my toast each morning, is that the same as eating eating four pounds of butter on New Year's Day? Seems like a lot.

No, but it does explain the avatar. :D

    Good luck. :)

I get about 5 days out of 60 ML sometimes 6 days. It is only 1.5 mg/ml juice at this point as I have cut nicotine level as I started vaping more. I mix it myself so it only costs about $1.25 to make 60 ML.

Used to vape a lot less ML but at 12 mg, then down to 6 mg, then 3 mg and now 1.5 mg. The ML of juice has gone up as I switched to higher output tanks and lower MG nic. Will probably stay with the current setup.

Really? It seems like every thread has a Sanctimonious Spencer. Nicotine is like caffeine: self-regulating. If it's not discussed enough for you, know that the thought is always in the back of our minds but we give each other the benefit of the doubt considering the alternative. Most long-time vapers have reduced their intake.
Not talking about nicotine intake or reducing, I'm talking about juice consumption and moderation of our vapor intake compared to massive amounts of vapor intake. So just like your comment, most throw out vapor consumption and concentration more on nic, which is talked about alot....this is like a drinking thread to where the main topic is "what is your alcohol percentage instead of how much do you drink" , Which is really the important issue. Or in a cigarette thread the main topic is "what's the nic percentage in your cigs instead of how many do you smoke". On those doctor or insurance papers we have to fill out, they simply want to know how much do you do, not what percentage of alcohol or nicotine are you intaking........this is what I'm saying is kind of skirted

In the beginning of Vaping a 30 ML bottle of 24 MG lasted me a month. After a month I bought an Aspire Tigon Kit and the same brand juice lasted two weeks. When I started DIY I upped the MG to 40- 50 MG and I stopped counting. Some days are more stressful, some aren't. The benefits of a supply of Nicotine and PG or VG means you can quit counting because you're not going to run out for a while.

Depends on the tank/coils for me, the juice, my mood. I'm a big fan of swapping juices, so run multiple mods, tanks, and RDAs.

Some juices I prefer in smaller quantities, such as Castle Long Reserve, a treat here and there for the flavor but not something I'd choose as an ADV. Those I will typically drip, and a bottle could last a year plus.

For juices that I like to chain vape, it depends on the tank/coils I use, and on how the juice tastes to me on higher versus lower wattage.

For some flavors I'll choose a conservative tank to make that juice last, or because the flavor is just not complex enough to my taste buds to warrant a higher wattage consumption. I still use my SMOK Big Baby Beast tanks (plural) because I get a satisfying vape on 1.5 ohm single kanthal coils, 45 watts or thereabouts. A 60ml bottle can last a week or even two on these tanks.

Sometimes I'll vape a juice on the Freemax mesh pro, dual or triple coils, 80-100 watts. I can burn through a bottle in a couple of days ;) There are some juices that I get enough extra flavor out of at high wattage that it's worth it to me to burn through a bottle.

    Just from a Numbers perspective...

If one Vapes around 50ml a Day, that is a little over 1 Liter of e-Liquid in 3 Weeks.

If this e-Liquid is an Average Flavored retail e-Liquid, and if an Average retail e-Liquid is made up of 12 ~ 15% Total Flavoring(s)/Sweetener, that's around 130ml of Flavoring(s)/Sweetener being Vaped in 3 Weeks.

Or about 2.25 Liters of Vaped Flavoring(s)/Sweetener per Year.

Forgetting about the Nicotine for a second, that seems like a Lot of Flavoring and Sweetener.

And most commercial juice doesn't say what sweetener they're using. I don't eat sucralose for example, and I don't want to vape it either. If we apply the same attitude towards vaping as we use with food, it can become kinda a rabbit hole of it's own avoiding harmful stuff. Another thing that makes me dizzy thinking about it. But my DH would say not to worry since I was dizzy to begin with. ;)

This is a Driving Force that some see as a Good Reason to make their own e-Liquids.

Because they can Control just what and how much Flavoring/Sweetener goes into their e-Liquids. And then eventually into their Lungs.

It’s the only thing to do now. I don’t really vape high flavor commercial juice anymore but it doesn’t compare to being able to make my own and controlling what goes into it. I’m trusting someone to do the right thing when I buy their liquid. But we may not really agree on what the right thing is, actually. I foresee mixing my own stuff in the future...

With the way things are going right Now, and the Uncertainty of where things are headed in the Future, I would Strongly Suggest that trying DIY, at least as a supplement, to their Retail e-Liquids.

DIY Isn't hard. In fact, it can be as Simple as mixing a Rum n' Coke. But it does take a little Practice.

I was trying to find something simple to mix, like that I can just add to some unflavored (a one shot?) I was looking around at One Stop DIY and I liked a lot of flavors, but then I wasn’t sure. Is it called a flavor concentrate or what? Sorry to unload noob questions on you!

That's how a Lot of people 1st stick their Toe into the DIY Waters.

They buy a 120ml or so bottle of Nicotine Base and PG and or VG to dilute it to a Nicotine Level that they Vape at. (DIY-ers call it making "Pre-Mix")

Then they just put some "Pre-Mix" into a 30ml Bottle and Add a Flavoring.

I have No Idea what type of Flavors you might like? But here is a Very Good single fruit flavoring that stands well on it's own.

One Stop Flavors - Blue Raspberry Slush - 30mL

And to give it a Touch more Sweetness, since you don't use Sucralose, a few Drops of Cotton Candy might be just what you are looking for.

Flavor shots are good. You an also buy small bottles of concentrates and use a few drops to flavor small bottles or bigger 60ml bottles. When I mix, it's usually four 100ml bottles of unflavored juice and 4 to 6 60ml bottles of various flavors. I sometimes use the flavored juice as an additive to my unflavored tank. It's weakly flavored when mixed with unflavored, but vaping unflavored most of the time enhances my senses to the point where less is better.

Thanks, I’ve been craving something sweet but slightly tart. I got a raspberry custard juice but the fruit and custard are pretty evenly flavored. One flavor is fine since I need to convince myself that I can do it. Stay cool where you are. :)

15ml/day average, so 60ml will last a week, but can go a week (or two) without vaping. 0.1mg/ml DIY mixes ... aiming at zero. It is the universe of epicurean delights (coffee, fruits, pastries) that compels me to vape. Cheers!

I haven’t seen anyone else bring an epicurean vibe to e-liquid. Nice one. ;)
