I have a vaporesso Target Pro. I recently bought a LG 3400mah battery. It takes over 2 hours for it to go from 35% to 99%, even with best chargers. Is it normal? Additionally, when I vape fast at 25w, the charger can't keep up and the charge actually decreases. I may want to buy a new mod, and I want something that could get fully charged as fast as phones.

Am I getting this right - you are charging the mod with a USB cable while you are vaping on it?
Yes.
I'm not really sure... I bought it for 7$ and this is the picture:

6 and a half hours for my Samsung 30Q's (3000mah) at 0.5amp on my Xtar charger to full, yes it will do faster by increasing the charge amperage, but i like my batteries unstressed and long living, and, well i use sanity and make sure i have enough batteries that i can have some on the charge while i vape on with others....

External chargers, and multiple batteries are the only way to go, ive never used onboard charging in 3 years since my first mod....which also had pass through charging (vape and charge) - which should be a last resort, not a regular habit

That is not a safe battery to use in vaping. That is a 4.8a flashlight battery.
Dang it. What are the disadvantages with this battery? Anything other than increased risk of explosion?

Is this the reason that I get the "Low Power" message when the battery is less than 40% charged?

Your mod is trying to pull much more amps than the battery can supply. It is over stressing the battery, probably to a dangerous point. That battery was designed to run a light bulb, so the focus on its construction was placed on run time (MaH) and not power(amps). You need to run at least a 20a battery (like a Samsung 25R) for safe operation of a sub ohm device.

The risk ranges from the battery venting, all the way up to property damage (risk of fire) and serious personal injury.

Let's try to keep this incident down to just the one - First vape related death

You need to pay close attention to battery specifications, primarily the "amp rating", or "maximum continuous discharge rate". The vast majority of vaping batteries need to have a 15 - 30 amp continuous discharge rate.

Your Lg battery likely has only a 4 - 6 amp cdr. Should you attempt to use it in a vaping battery device, you'll get "low power" even when the battery is fully charged. It doesn't have a high enough amp or current rating.

When choosing the best battery for your regulated battery device, choose one which will accomodate the wattage setting that you typically use:

Yes, you need better batteries (at least two, so you can swap them out conveniently) AND an external charger. The increased safety, less wear and tear on the battery and mod (the USB port but really it's not designed to be charged that way routinely) and you've been given the information on how to do it. DO IT.

You will/can thank everyone later. It seriously is so much more convenient and safer. If it were me, I'd stop using that battery immediately and yes, it is probably the source of your mod's wonkiness etc.

Well, you've already experienced the "other" part. Very poor performance. The voltage drop / "battery sag" when you apply a load is so great that the battery simply can't output the required energy, and you get a "low power" or "battery weak" or similar error from the device, much earlier than should be expected.

Where did you get those batteries to begin with? Hopefully not a vape shop?

You mention possibly buying a new mod that charges faster, etc. Best thing you could do is just buy some decent 20A batteries. Nothing wrong with your mod at all.

Buy two sets of batteries, use an external charger, and you will always have your next set ready to swap. Just make sure to put/carry them in a case when they aren't in a charger.

You will be much happier, just by purchasing new batteries that are capable of delivering the power you mod needs safely.
