A friend of mine from another state called me and asked me if I wanted some e-liquid. Her son was vaping and is no longer with her and she is getting rid of all kinds of his stuff. She says that there are about 60-70 bottles, some full, others not so full. The dates on them are at least 1-1/2 to 2 years ago, 18 and 24 nicotine and 50/50 PG/VG. I don't know how long the nicotine will stay at that level or if the flavors will have dimished. Said I would check on this forum and see if it would be worth paying for her to send them to me. Any ideas?

It should be ok but can't gaurentee it I'm guessing there are multiple flavours ect which must have different rates of detioriation id hazard the postage and as far as I'm aware nicotine can not diminish in a sealed bottle and following that same logic I'm guessing the flavour will not diminish either I'd say go for it

Expiration dates on all of my juices so far have been 1 year from make date. Now I don't know if this DISABLES them from being vaped or just a safety thing, but I wouldn't use them.

What do I know about juice though...all I do is buy and vape it. /shrug

The way I'm looking at it is like the labelling on food out of date food has been thrown away but as we know there are people who take this food and store it for months with no ill effects after eating it but with cosmetics they are dated because of bacteria that can form on the product but the method of creating vapour from liquid should eliminate any bacteria which may be there

Health risk I would say is minimum like I said the main problem with chemicals is break down and as I said I think that wouldn't be a huge problem in sealed bottles and bacteria but as you make vapour via a red hot coil and pesky bacteria fear heat you should be ok for the sake of the postage and the reward of around 70 bottles which will last you untill next year unless you drink it or somthing in my opinion you'd be a fool to see it thrown away

Thanks. I am mainly concerned about the health risk...

Then don't vape!

I'll gladly pay for da $hippin' and hand out what I don't care for to my younger v-verts. A couple of 'em have 'moked an herb or two anyways...
