I'm with the Big Hitter on this - long, cheesy intros are a big turn-off.

What I look for are:
* Professionalism - good delivery, clear diction, no 'um' or 'ahh'
* Production quality - good lighting, in-focus, good sound, properly aligned camera angle, no background distractions.
* Factual - the good and bad, pro and con, clearly explained.

Phil Busardo has to be one of the best video reviewers out there - he ticks all the boxes. Scott (Igetcha69) is also very good indeed. GrimmGreen is knowledgeable but I his cheesy intros and distracting backgrounds (those posters - dude!) just grind my gears.

All in all 10-15 minutes is a good review but if it needs to be longer, and still keeps the entertainment level high, then so be it.

Under 5 min with no loud or long or musical introductions and no multimeters, and definitely NO personal bedroom things in the background like beds or clothes for eg. lol... . Detailed discussion of ohms, voltage and watts should be on a separate video or at least after everything important has been said, so that one can opt out. I am not interested in watching someone (who didn't even pass high school) fumble with their huge multimeter when all I want to knows is what a product looks like and how it works.
Sometimes I want to link a noob friend or family member to a specific product video... But most make me too embarrassed.

Oh and wheezing is a big fail!

You neglected to mention sounds of domestic partners, children, and televisions in the background!

I consider what your looking for more of an overview, not a review. Which is fine thats all I need most of the time as well.

Its all quality over quantity when it comes to watching reviewers IMO. There are some that babble on and never make a single point the whole video.

An overview might be a good prelude to a review.
